This is basically a Vision CGS 16

I like the paddle overall, but I feel kind of cheated to learn this is basically the Vision CGS with Ben John's name on it. On the Joola website the specs seem to show this paddle is larger 16.5 x 7.5 versus the 16.4 x 7.4 of the Vision, but I measured and it is exactly the Vision dimensions. So basically I paid extra to have Ben John's name on the paddle. The other negative about the paddle is the grip size is too big (fat) for me. I measured it at 4.5" around with the grip. Gave me tennis elbow that I'm still trying to recover from. Anyway I remediated this by removing the stock grip and sanding down the sides of the grip, and wrapping it with a thinner grip tape. Now I have the grip size down to 4.25". There was a bit on instability and vibration too which I fixed by adding .1 oz lead tape on each bottom corner of the paddle head.

Great paddle!

It is not a light paddle, mine weighed in at 8.5 oz. That said it delivers incredible power and spin. It has taken my game to the next level. I can put a 3 foot lateral spin on the ball, and my overhead smash is not returnable at my level.

Why not use the tool the number one player uses?

A friend lent me his paddle to try and compare it to the Blue Joola, my reaction was amazement and I felt I had more power and control with less effort as the number ratings show. Now I have 2 of the same paddles!

Excellent paddle for producing spin!

This paddle is light weight but can pack a punch. It has very good grip on the ball which helps with the accuracy in placing the ball. It also isn't overly hard, so this also helps in developing accuracy. Although it is not a power paddle, I have accidentally hit the ball out bounds several times on the back line, without swinging too hard, so it can develop some power. I believe that this paddle has improved my game as an advanced player. I would definitely recommend it if you are interested in finesse in placement and spin.

Great spin, good right hand paddle

Great Spin, great grip, good paddle. It plays much better right then left, Not great for a switching player, But the spin control is excellent, I’m a 4.5 ranked player working towards ppa

Paddle Control

Paddle provides me with control, comfort, and spin when needed. Saw immediate improvement in my game. Long grip allows me to extend my reach for hard to get dinks.
