Adorable, but may not last.

My little chihuahua loves it. I have noticed the stitching starting to come apart at the base of the head. I believe it is easily repaired there. I do not recommend this toy for large dogs with more powerful teeth. She loves the crackle arms, the tug rope and squeaker, and I love how adorable it is. It has a face on both sides, different colors, and is about ten inches long. It is made in China (which I dislike as I do not trust products from China) and the price seems really high for something made in China. Outside of that, I do like it.

Crazy love :)

Oh, wow -- they went for this like crazy! They fought over it and have just loved it. Flathead has taken a serious beating. The dogs were tugging over possession the other day and the poor guy lost a flipper. Our dogs are serious chewers, so this guy didn't last long, but the boys sure enjoyed it. They seem to really love the crackle. I just bought them another, because spoiling them is one of my best jobs :) Flathead succumbed to the chewing (and when I say "chewing" I mean dedicated gnawing), or he'd have five stars.

It is a fun toss toy but don't play to vigorous with it

This toy is not as durable as I thought it would be. This one was a replacement for another that got it's head ripped off 5 minutes after we gave it to the dog. We have a Lab puppy and this is not for voracious chewers! It is a fun toss toy but don't play to vigorous with it. My dog does like the crinkly sounds that the head and limbs make.

Jolly fun

The dogs were fighting over it immediately -- they love it! I would have been happy to give it 5 stars, but one of the boys is a chewer, so the head and "limbs" got chewed up, fairly quickly. Other than the disfiguring gnawing, it's reasonably sturdy, and holds up to some pretty fierce tugging. They're still fighting over it, and they drag it out every day -- while many of their toys stay in the basket :) So overall I'm happy with the purchase, seriously contemplating buying another one.... I know -- smack me, right?! :D

Tough for our tough little chewer! And so cute!

Our 9-pound dog Sam - the biggest fan of sound-making toys - LOVES this! It has been a few months, and this toy is still mostly intact, with only about 1/3 of the head chewed off. The outer fabric and the braid are VERY tough and still holding strong, which is amazing for our chew-happy Sam. The squeaker & some of the plastic come out of it once the head is torn. Sam had the squeaker out in a matter of days, which usually takes him an hour tops. The plastic is in there tightly throughout, so it is torn only as the tough outer fabric is chewed away. If you have a dog who tends to eat toys, it probably isn't a good toy to have. Our dogs spit the pieces out and we pick them up, so it is a great fit. And this is such an adorable toy! I love the face! I will surely buy more as Sam goes through them. I might try the Small one just to mix it up, but the Medium size is perfect for our small dogs.

Not for my chewer...

I have a ten month old lab/beagle mix. He destroyed this toy. I was hopeful because I had gone to the jolly pets website after being given the jolly ball by in-laws and having our dog absolutely love it and unable to destroy it. On the website you can do this quick add in the word that describes your dog and it'll suggest their products, the was one of them. It wasn't destroyed right away but it didn't last long term either. He pulled the arms and legs off, and the braided middle started coming undone. He chewed off bites of the fabric to get to the crinkle plastic inside and ripped that out. Not bmuch withstands his chewing, so I would not recommend this to moderate to heavy chewers. He did love the toy while it lasted.

Tough chewer

Puppy loves this toy and it last about 2 weeks which is great with this puppy. I do have to remove the squeaker from the head so he doesn't eat it, he eats everything that doesn't run faster than he does. LOL I buy several and give him one at a time.

My 2 dogs loved their Jolly Pets Flatheads

Molly (3 yr old black lab mix) loved the toy but as usual with all her toys, she destroyed it. Took here several weeks but she totally destroyed it. So far this one lasted the longest of any toys we have gotten her. On the other hand out 7 yr old doxie also got one. She loved to play with it but again Molly destroyed that one also I think it is a great project but no indestructible. I would definitely recommend to others with the warning that their dog just might destroy it.

Expected More from Jolly Pets Product

My dog destroyed this toy when in 10mins, i was expecting a lot more from jolly pets to be honest since I have bought there products in past and been very satisfied with it but sorry to say NOT this time.

My Golden Husky loves playing chase with this toy! Squeeky in the head....she loves squeaky toys! And the crinkly noises in the limbs is great! Still in new condition after 2 mths! She does not chew this to bits like other toys. Very well made thank you!
