Works great -- make sure you have the right type of can

This works great, but it is imprortant to know what you are getting. The description is a bit confusing, and the online documentation from Jesco is not much help either. As the other reviewer mentioned, you just get the trim and adjustable gimball ring. It is set up to hold the bulb tightly with a spring type clip. The can must be one where you can have the socket hanging free, attached only by wires. It will not work with a can that has a fixed bulb socket. To install, you mount the bulb in the gimbal ring, and install the trim ring as you would a standard trim ring (which includes the bulb you mounted and screwed into the light socket) The gimbal ring is well designed.... you can get any angle from the bulb. I have attached a few pictures for reference... this turns out to be one of the most cost effective adjustable can trims, but remember, you do need the light socket in the can to be free hanging. Another point... to replace the bulb, you will have to be able to reach the trim and change the bulb. For most, this may not be an issue, but it is for my 18 foot ceilings where I change the bulbs with a pole... I could only use for the cans near the walls. That said, I just replaced with LED bulbs... hopefully I won't have to worry about even those for another 22 years!

I ordered this one (and payed more) because pic shows it has a "pull" tab to remove ring and install/replace bulb. Actual one came with tabs sticking out and therefore a "twist" clockwise to lock the ring and hold the bulb. Harder to do when you have the MR-16 bulb in place, but NOT impossible. I returned it because I could (and did) get the "tab" ones for $11, not $21 or so I paid for this one. From where? Lamps one (here on amazon too).

Nice but not the size described.

These lights are nice, but very small. The shade portion of the light is NOT 5" tall, as described. It's about 3.5" tall. The opening is 5" in diameter, as described though. The (turquoise) colour is also a few shades lighter than it appears in the pictures. If I can figure out how to post a picture via the Amazon app, I'll post one.

BEWARE: 1st came exactly as described and shown; 2nd and 3rd had two different patterns of white abalite glass which were certainly neither flat nor frosted. Interestingly though all three had the same serial number TM-616WH on both the boxes and on the fitting itself. Product itself was great in all three cases...just not as described except in my first delivery.

Looks great, fits LED PAR20s if you get the right ones

Looks great (matches the WAC Lighting "brushed nickel" tracks very well, eg https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0037U785A). Build quality seemed fine to me. It took a little bit of manipulation, but I got the Soraa PAR20 LEDs to fit just fine (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B012L9PI36). Protip: use a pair of pliers to flatten the ends of the retaining clips in the fixtures to make it easier to get the bulbs to fit in. The Muller Licht PAR20s also fit fine (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KLJ6HCK).

lights that move

We ordered these to match the other mini can lights. Not a nice match. One of them is always slides to the wrong postion. the internal spring that should hold it where you arm it does not hold. its bulker then the mini can. If you don't want to match it would be just fine.

It wasn't as close a match as I had hoped, plus had a problem with one of them. Never been good about returns. Was prepared to buy another one, but the price tripled...that is my perception! That's why the lower rating. So, I'm stuck with mismatched lighting that only I notice.

Doesn't not come with housing unit.

Wasn't able to use these as they didn't fit into any of the housing I could purchase. When I bought these I was planning of replacing the can lights in my downstairs with new LED ones. However even after researching I was unsure if these came with the housing units. I should have known by the price that they didn't but I purchased them anyways. After searching our local home center stores, we just purchased complete sets from the home center.
