Wide-set prongs should make for a stable pole

Since the ground is frozen this time of year and therefore unable to set up outside, I am only able to share how the product appears. The pair arrived very well packaged, in fact the manufacturer added extra exterior corner bumpers to their box so the densely packed components wouldn’t burst or pierce through. Each component was individually wrapped, plus any having pointed ends were capped with clear covers (see close up photo), so the set arrived in pristine condition. The metal is solid and sturdy, and the instructions are both written and diagrams. The feet or base which is stuck into the ground is a wide set of prongs - not a flimsy narrow set as I have on one of my shepherd hook plant hangers. Those seem to list to one side after a while. Aside from the wide set prongs which will provide greater stability so the poles remain vertical in the ground, I appreciate the option to omit a pipe or two if I choose to have these at a lower height than the maximum possible.

Solid and Sturdy Poles, Versatile and Adjustable

This is a great kit to use to suspend hanging lights across your yard. The height is easily adjustable, and the spikes at the base are thick enough to provide great stability. The poles also include brackets for mounting to a fence or outdoor wall. Each pole also has two hooks at the top so that you can hang birdfeeders or other decor. These are a good value for the money.

A little thin

These were fairly easy to assemble and well coated with the black rust-resistant (I'm assuming) coating. Each piece was easy to screw together, as the threading was perfect. I like how you can attach it to your deck or use the spikes to sink it into the ground. It's a bit thin in diameter, though, and that means it doesn't do well with tension, and the pole kind of leans when you try to use outdoor lights on it with any sort of tension.

Awesome for everyday decor and parties!

These are just as I expected them to be (just as described), and work perfectly for my lightweight Solar string lights. I wouldn’t tempt fate by hanging any bird feeders or plants from these hangers, but for lights and party decorations they are perfection. Plenty tall enough. I love that I can attach them to the corners of my deck and hang lights far above the railing, but leave the ground stakes installed on the lawn. The 7 stakes are plenty sufficient for stability (6 + the pole stake itself) and I recommend covering the stakes with a cloth and using a mallet to help get them inserted flush all the way into the ground. This makes a huge difference in stability.

Great ambiance on my deck!

I installed these poles to my deck railing and hung solar powered string lights across them. The whole setup has given my deck a whole new atmosphere and It's a joy to spend time there now. The poles themselves are very sturdy and well-made and were fairly easy to setup and install.

These are perfect for putting up string lights. You can attache them to anything wooden, or spike them into the ground. I have them in the ground and they are holding steady.

Heavy Duty Steel Light Poles

Heavy duty steel light poles (2). The base has 6 stakes to securely hold the pole upright. The poles themselves are painted black with no nicks or dings in the paint job. The top has 2 places to place things. So a light string and party decorations could be easily displayed. The poles also come with 6 pole clamps so the poles can be secured to a fence. The poles are about 96 inches from the holder to the top of the ground stakes. Height will be determined by how high you put the ground stakes and how tight you make the pole connectors. The pole comes in 6 lengths plus 1 pointed section so 7 all together. Overall they will provide an excellent way to light up the back patio area as well as hang decorations for various occasions such as birthday parties.
