I see why they were made

Simply put, these plans are a fantastic idea, however, THEY ARE NOT STURDY!!!! Please it then in a pie pan or a baking sheet or something sturdy that can go in the oven. I almost lost my cornbread mix because of the flimsiness of them. If my back is better, I will get in my wheelchair and take a pick with cornmeal mix in it so that you will see what I'm talking about.

Perfect for my needs

I like to provide meals to new parents and for those who are dealing with a death in the family. I like to provide a meal where the recipient doesn't have to worry about returning bake ware. I also like that the entire line of If You Care products are non-toxic and eco friendly.

Fell apart easily

I LOVE the idea of these, but first of all, the quantity is greater than a typical American pie plate, so I was only able to make 3 cherry pies, not 4. On top of that, once baked, the "pan" was floppy. Had to be carried with two hands, and I'd done some careful lattice tops, but they all broke because the paper is so flimsy that even with two hands, they weren't stable. I may use the fourth one for a quiche someday, but I would not order these again. A good idea, but poorly constructed. Che peccato, perche' sono una buona idea.

Great for the price and environment

These are actually cheaper than the disposable tin ones I get at the grocery store, and they are just a sturdy as those too. I use them to bake a pie with a pretty sick buttery crust and once the crust cools and the fridge, it's extremely sturdy. I usually bake on a pan, so by the time it cools off it is once again sturdy. They do become flimsy, as the pie or whatever you've made in it, starts to get eaten... But again it's no different than the disposable tin ones.

Hold up well

I use these for making sweet and savory galettes. They hold up very well

Better for light weight cakes or cornbread

I made an apple cobbler for a friend's birthday, and I had to use all four of the trays since it was much heavier than a baked cake. Good alternative to foil type pans.

These work, but I wouldn’t buy them again

This works, but it’s not something I’d buy again (unless I have no other choice). It’s pretty flimsy, so you have to be very delicate when transferring the pie to the oven. It’s also not as slanted as a pie pan usually is. This felt more like a cake pan. Again though, it works. I also made the mistake of doubling up the pans, hoping that it would be sturdier. I think that was too much insulation, and I had to bake the pie for much longer than what the recipe called for (I monitor the temperature in my oven with an extra thermometer so I know that wasn’t the issue). I have two more left, so I will use them still.

Great baking pans

I like the ease of using these pans I cooked cornbread in them and came out perfect evenly baked nice and brown. Only needed to spray just a small amount of non stick spray to the pan. Will definitely order and use them again was perfect for the holidays less cleanup! I wish they were reusable.
