Super Comfortable, Lightweight, Thin & Warm

At about 47 grams (1.7 oz.) the weight is perfect for lightweight traveling. Also rolls, bunches up or lies perfectly flat for compact packing. I love the super soft interior lining (60% wool/40% Lyocell) which prevents scratchiness and allows breathability. The 100% wool exterior is super soft and super thin which combined with the lining makes for a cozy super comfortable cap. I love the extended back and sides which cover the ears for fridgid mornings or in gusty winds. Can also be lifted up to sort of a “Robinhood” type look or neatly rolled, remaining nice and snug against the head, which looks cool with the exposed interior color lining. It is very thin and therfore a bit flimsy but keeps you warm enough. Because it’s so thin would also make a great underlayer for expedition type gear. Quality is unsurpassed as always from IceBreaker. Replaces an old similar style Patagonia but I already love this so much more!

This is a Three-fer for me !

One: I wear it alone, nice lightweight warmth. Two: I wear it as an additional liner under my jacket's hood Three: It's low weight bulk allows it to fit under my L/XL Arcteryx Wool baseball hat. So versatile and it covers my ears. Kind of Spendy but to me so well worth it !
