Perfect piece to install my portable air conditioner that had a 6" hose. I needed it to reduce to 4" so that I could install my kit to run it through the wall and to the outside of the house. Now I can work in my garage in the 100 degree heat.

Buy the PVC Reducer Instead - Cheaper

Excellent product. However there are better PVC options available for less money that would work just as well. But this is product is a high quality Hydrofarm product.

Can be useful!

I didn't use this for very long as I had a 4 inch fan connected to my 6 inch hood before I upgraded to the 6 inch, but this little thing plugged right into the hood without any issue or even having to seal it. Good stuff.

Inside Diameter Is Less Than 6"

Product arrived with a deformation / dent. Didn't have time to reorder so made it work. Was installing an LG rangehood with a 6" flange. This adapter would not fit onto the flange because the inside diameter of the adapter was too small. Both had the same diameter of 5.75". Ended up drilling out the welds on the 6" end to expand it enough to fit the rangehood flange. Be cautious if you are ordering for an application like mine.

Not all the same size!

I required 4 of these, I bought 1 to test fit and it for perfect so I ordered 3 more. After 30 mins of trying to force the 2nd one on I realized they are not all the same dimensions.
