A bit about sizing to help out other people...

My new pants arrived today just in time for my vacation to Iceland. I'll update my review when I return and have had a chance to try out the pants. I did try them on. My normal size pants is a 36 or 38. 37 would be absolutely perfect for me if it existed. My inseam is 33 although I usually buy 34 because that's what's available. I purchased Huk size XL in these pants. The waist is not tight but far from loose. I think if I had a fat ass, there wouldn't be a chance in hell I could get the waistband over it. There is very little extra room in the elastic waistband. So if you're I'd say 36-40 the XL is the right size for you. Now the length is another story. I'll bet the inseam on these is 35". There's a lot of extra leg length at the bottom. I'll be wearing hiking boots so it won't be a problem. There is also a velcro closure at the bottom so I won't be dragging the pants under my heels but they do run long. I'm 6' 1/2" tall and weight #225 with an athletic build. They do seem to be high quality. I own lot's of Huk branded clothing. I prefer it hands down over other brands like Pelagic for fishing clothing.

Good value, but too long for me...

I ordered these and was very happy with the quality, but length was way too long for me. I'm larger (around) and ordered the 3XL. Waist fit was perfect, but length was way too long, even if I was wearing boots. Other minor con, is there is no fly. Just a drawstring. Might not be a negative for everyone, but I prefer a front fly on my fishing rain gear.

size problems

guyz u making a good products but for giants. Im 6ft tall, no matter how small pans I get it fit only 7ft tall guy. you should put it in a chart to avoid further misunderstanding

Way too long

These pants seem like good quality and the fit in the waist is what I expected. The length is totally disproportional to what would normally be expected. I am six feet tall with a 33” waist. These pants are at least 4” too long. Maybe they would fit a person that is 6’ 8”?? Do not buy these unless you are a very tall person. They can not be tailored.

Nice pants but returned due to fit

These are nice rain pants, a little expensive BUT the size medium that I ordered leg length was probably 6" too long. My regular pants leg size length is 32" and I am 5'10". I could have rolled the excess length up but ended up returning.
