This product is perfect for any softball or baseball player looking to increase their skills in the field! These work wonders. As a coach, it frustrates me when players don't watch the ball the entire time. The problem can be corrected. Fielding ground balls isn't learned overnight. It takes repetition. Add this to your practice and watch game performance improve. When I was learning we would put our hat in our mouth, which accomplishes the same thing. The goal is to get the player to bend knees, butt down, and most important ARMS OUT FRONT. If your arms are out front it is easier to watch the ball all the way into the glove. Adjusting to bad hops is also easier because several inches can mean keeping the ball in front or it bouncing between your legs. Use these as part of a complete fundamental approach to coaching. Just for disclosure. I have been playing baseball for over 25 years. I have been voted by other coaches to coach the city all star team the past two years.

I used these for my 6-8 year old baseball team. It took the kids a little bit to get used to them but eventually they were fine with them and they worked great!
