Honeywell HPD-100B

Please note on June 19, 2021, I purchased through Amazon two Honeywell HPD-100B hand dryers, and it seemed to me one may have worked a bit better than the other, so I returned to Amazon one of them. Thus, I purchased a Royal Sovereign RTHD-790S through Home Depot, and it seems to stay on better for me to dry hands. At this point, I am not satisfied with the Honeywell HPD-100B I kept past Amazon return period because it seems to me to be too much of a challenge to get it to stay on long enough at a time sometimes. Maybe I should have returned both Honeywell HPD-100B during return period?

Does not work well at all

I got this for the bathroom in my personal training studio. The clients all complain about it because It constantly turns off and does not do a good job drying hands. I really wish I could return this and get another product. I will be throwing it out and do not recommend buying one.

We love this. Works great! So simple and easy to use.

I was surprised at how well this Honeywell Personal Hand Dryer worked straight out of the box. I took it out and simply set it on the bathroom counter and plugged it in. I found the switch to turn it on, set it to "warm" (you can opt for "cool" too) - and that was it! You stick wet hands in, it comes on and dries them effectively in around 10+ seconds. You remove hands, it shuts off after a couple of seconds. I was getting irritated that I never seemed to be able to keep a hand towel for drying in that particular bathroom (for some reason, someone in my family is always grabbing them and not putting it back, or something spills and it's the closest towel to use to clean it up, or it falls to the floor, etc. - it's always something!) so this was such an easy fix. While it's not the fastest hand dryer out there (it's not like the industrial kinds), it does the job pretty well and my kids absolutely love it. It is a little noisy while using it, but that's not a biggie in the bathroom we stuck it in. It also comes with some hardware to easily launch it on a wall. All you need is to make sure you are placing it near an outlet for plugging it in. It gets two thumbs up from me!

This would be best in the kitchen or a bathroom away from sleeping people

The media could not be loaded. Dries my hands quite quickly using the heated dry setting. Seems about as fast as commercial hand driers. The noise level is that of a hair dryer, so I wouldn't use this around people who are sleeping, like if your bathroom is adjacent to your bedroom. This is actually perfect for a kitchen. I get sick of constantly having to dry my hands when I'm cooking. I like that is has slots for wall-mounting, although there's nowhere near my kitchen sink where I could mount it. It's the size of a small coffeemaker, perhaps a bit taller even, so take that into consideration. I can't put it on my bathroom counter, as the plug is near the medicine cabinet, and this is way too tall to allow me to open that if it's adjacent. The switches are underneath, near the nozzle, which is a bit awkward, but overall this is quite good.

Does not really dry hands

Very noisy when running, real issue is that it does not really have enough power to dry hands, in addition the sensor shuts it down way too early and to restart the blower you need to get your hands away, wait a few seconds, and place them again under the sensor.
