Product was delivered fast. Connected and functioned as expected. Looks like an excellent quality hose that should last quite a few pool seasons.

5 uses n hole sprung

Barely use pool or filter, only opened pool to show house, so about the 5th time pump was on i walked out n see a spray of water coming from the pump area. I get over there n see the leak is in a hose, well hoses need to be replaced at times, except this hose was just replaced! We didn't get it till July 21st, hubby put it on about 7-10days later, not even 30 days, 5 uses later a 2-3mm hole...2 days after return window has closed. No wonder these were less than others, they are cheap and a waste of resources n materials! Prob end up stuck in whales throat after I RECYCLE it! What's that? Put duck tape on it...yeah that sends a great message to home buyers! Its cheap dont buy unless you dont mind cheap.

Did the job

This was the most uncomfortable straw ever. Gave me a sore throat. I may have chipped a tooth. Acid reflux feels better than the feelings of this straw. There were some definite bad dreams. But I give it 5 stars because it does have suction power!

Great hose and fittings

1-1/2"I.D. X 8' long hose - Working great even after a year, the only reason I have to replace one hose is a fox bite a hole hose. Good for suction (inlet) and pressure (outlet) side of the pump. Note; cut your old hose length wise and slide it over your new hoses to protect them from the sun. They will last much longer.

Not a Standard End Cuff

Whereas this is fine for connecting between a leaf catcher and a vacuum head, it won't connect a vacuum head to the main filter. The cuff went down and down the vacuum port. It would not make a seal so it would not vacuum. It was also kind of loose on the adapter to the intake of the leaf catcher but I fixed that with some electrical tape. I don't know if I can remove the end and replace the cuff.
