Use with a hair dryer!

I have very fine and thin hair. It is very flat and has no volume. This stuff doesn't really shape my hair well, however, if I use a blow dryer first to get my hair up, then apply this, it works fine. Also, if you then blow dry your hair after you put the product in, your hair becomes extra soft and has a nice shine to it. I prefer this look. All the PROS need a hair dryer. The con is it that it doesn't really work by itself in putting my hair up or styling.

Use after hair is dry

I've tried a number of different products, and this one works great for me. Everyone needs to find the one that works for their hair. My hair is thick and straight, and this does well holding it up and allowing me to shape it (I keep a side-part and short on the side and back). But hair must be dry - if wet, the product doesn't work well.

Greasy, no hold, bad texture

Been researching these products forever, and have yet to find one I like. This product made my hair greasy and had barely any hold. Not a fan. Overpriced too.

Lovvvvve Me Some Goop.

Gel sucks. Goop rules. And that's all you need to know. But seriously, it's a really great product. And if you're ever in DC / Northern Virginia area you should stop by a Grooming Lounge store and get your hair cut (little expensive but worth doing every third cut or so).

Not real

There is no way this is the authentic product. I have used this hair gel for many years purchased from authorized retailers. I believe this version is either expired or counterfeit. If you want to purchase from a trusted site, try going directly to grooming lounge - its worth it.

No parabens

I want to like this product but it’s advertised to have no paravents but contains: Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben, Isobutylparaben. That’s a lot of parabens in a supposed no paraben product. Can someone please explain

Works well, very mild scent

Grooming Lounge Some Hair Goop We got this for our 19 year old son who has a LOT of thick wavy hair that he's recently started keeping longer, which means he NEEDS something to help keep it under control... The goop has a very mild scent, which he likes. It's not girly or flowery or sweet, just nice and inoffensive. The texture in the container is like super overheated taffy - it's sticky and stretchy and gummy, but as soon as you rub it around on your fingertips it smoothes out and works itself in well. It offers pretty good hold with a modest amount of product, which is nice. You definitely don't want to use too much or it will look odd and not lay right; it takes a little practice to get the amount right, but once you do this works quite well at keeping his hair manageable and on-purpose looking...
