Pretty easy to install, but you will need a torque wrench to do it right. Saved hundreds of dollars over calling a plumber.

Easy install with the right tools

The trick was finding the right cartridge for my shower. I had to send pictures to the manufacturer to get the right part number but it was easy to install once I got the right one.

Worked out well

This replacement valve has worked out really well for me as I had the proper tools to get the job done. It fit perfectly and is working as well as the original did. How well it holds up remains to be seen. It's only been on there for a months now. The original served us well for 14 years. As it stands, I would not hesitate to purchase as many others as I need as they start to leak.

Easy to replace, fixed my problem. A bit pricy, look around for the best deal.

I had a leaky Grohe ceramic disc faucet that had dripped for over a year. I finally figured out the replacement part, and installed it in less than 5 minutes. The trick is to figure out which of the two sizes you need, and the direction required to turn it off. Small sinks take the "1/2 inch" (although nothing is 1/2 inch since these are metric) - the washer are about the size of a dime, if you take your old one out. For the larger ones, that might fill a tub, or provide all the water for a shower, that is the "3/4 inch" size. The ceramic washers in are the size of a quarter. If yours are still leaking with new inserts, check your house water pressure. These don't like high pressure. Not sure of the value that is recommended, but I would guess under 80PSI.

First figure out how to take the faucet handles off.

These cartridges are very good. The original ones lasted 20 years & the present failures were due to a bad water heater that released particles of scale. The only problem is that it seems as if each different style of Grohe faucet comes apart differently even though they all use the same ceramic cartridges. Spend some time with the web & be sure you know how to remove the specific faucet handle. Once you know that, replacement is very simple

Super Produkt. Kam wie immer schnell an und passte. Achtung bei diesen Artikeln wird die Ventilöffnung gemessen nicht das Gewinde. Diese hier passte an meiner Grohe Duscharmatur mit 1 Zoll Gewinde.
