No choke harness

Unfortunately, my dog has a problem with choking and coughing whenever he pulls on a regular dog harness, and when I looked for a no choke dog harness this came up. It is definitely is no choke and for once he doesn’t choke when we go on a walk. He pulls a lot and sometimes even lunges at other dogs, so this was a good tool and held up pretty well. I have two problems with it though 1: we needed this harness for my dog who is a pug mix at 27 pounds and got x large since his girth is 24 inches, but was a little big at the tightest adjustment, sadly he slipped out and ran across the street. Altogether he slipped out about 3-4 times on our 2 day trip. 2: The two rings are slightly tarnishing over the course of only two days. Over all it dose the job but creates another problem, escaping, you could order a size smaller if the harness is too big. Nice harness but I might need to keep looking for a different no choke harness and return or buy a size down.

Nice, little hard to clip

I bought this harness because my schipperke would cough if she pulled on the harness we were using previously. I really like the choke free design of this harness, and it really does seem to make a difference as my pup no longer coughs on the rare occasions that she pulls on the leash. She seems comfortable in the harness, but it is a bit more tedious to put on. The only thing that I would change about this harness is that I wish it had velcro tabs underneath the clip where it attaches on the pup's back. My pup has medium length fur and I have to be careful to not catch any fur in the clip on the back. I think if I loosened the straps it would be easier to avoid catching her fur, but it would also make the harness fit looser, and I feel like that would be an improper fit that may make the harness easier for a dog to pull off. Overall I still like the harness and plan to continue using it. It is secure and definitely helps to not choke my pup. For reference my dog is about 15-16 lbs and the medium size fits her well after adjusting the straps.

Bought for TT with a collapsing Trachea

Our poor girl developed a collapsing trachea and needed a harness that wasn't rubbing near her throat. After trying several this one worked the best for my senior Tibetan Terrier. IT was soft and didn't rub. She is challenging to fit - and this one fit the best for her.

Great harness

I learned the hard way that smaller dogs are prone to collapsed trachea. I tried many harnesses and none of them worked. They still put pressure on the trachea which helped lead to the collapse. This harness works great and does not put pressure on the trachea and she is very comfortable in it. Would highly recommend especially to those with small dogs. I am sure it will also work for bigger dogs also.

A little too big

This is an ok harness. Dog is about 7 lbs, and it's a little too big for him. It fits a little funny too. I probably wouldn't buy again.

Nice harness

I love this harness. I bother one for her to grow into also. It is the only one I found that doesn’t cut into her throat. Very easy to put on.

Seems more comfortable than others

Lightly padded and larger in the chest, I feel better using this on my puppy than other harnesses that seem to apply pressure in smaller areas. We’re on our second one, our first started ripping along one side, and the sizing doesn’t seem to be exactly consistent, but close enough for us. My biggest complaint is that this will mat my schnauzer, which has more to do with him, but we’ve had gases this harness out because of it.

Does what I bought it for.

Wierd sizing but bought large but had to shorten the waist strap as it was too long. If I bought the size smaller it would be too short from front to back, then would have rubbed behind the elbow. Otherwise happy with the product as does not choke my dog.

Incorrect Sizing.

We ordered the small for our tiny chi and what was advertised was 12.5 inches around the chest minimum. We knew from previous purchases this would fit. As per the pic what we received as a small was 13 inches round the chest minimum. Might not seem like a lot but on a tiny dog it really makes a difference.. can see by the pic it’s baggy. (Her name is Meatball btw)

Flimsy, very thin, wouldn't trust this to keep my 4 month old pup safe.
