Quality could be a bit better

I’ve been considering getting a cereal dispenser for about a month--ever since I got into eating breakfast cereals again after decades of ignoring them. This dispenser was fairly easy to put together. You really don’t need the instructions, but the instructions did let me know that the knob pulls out and so does the paddle so you can wash it easier. The paddle by the way is rubber so the fins can bend a bit to accommodate different sizes of cereal, but I wouldn’t go too big or you will end up with more cereal dust than whole pieces. The support that holds the tank seems like it should snap into the base and be fixed, but it doesn’t and this allows the tank to move back and forth a little which I’m not fond of. I’m afraid it’s going to detach and make a huge mess. That needs to be addressed in future models. The tank held nearly an entire 17 oz. box of cereal—Dunkin’ Caramel Macchiato in this case. I had to wiggle the handle back and forth a little to get the cereal to feed into the chute at first, but once it started, it worked like a charm. The opening of the chute is close to the base and finding an appropriate bowl is key. Removing the chrome drip tray allowed me to slip the bowl under the chute easier, allowed more cereal out and the indentation held the bowl in place. The drip tray is really useless unless the indentation was made deeper. The cap that plugs the chute is a nice touch and keeps the cereal from going stale so soon. I don’t always remember to remove it until I notice no cereal in the bowl, but that’s on me. I love the way the dispenser looks on the counter. It makes me feel a bit like a kid again. Just a couple tweaks and it would be perfect.

Good for goldfish snacks

I got this so I could keep my toddlers goldfish snacks fresh and could get to them quickly. I wish the bottom came out so I could fit larger snack dishes underneath to fill. I also wish it automatically turned into a closed no air position. You have to put the cap back on at the bottom. Overall I like it and it does it’s job well.

Really wanted to love this but...

Only really works for large-shaped cereals. Anything smaller than a cheerio will fall through and get everywhere. Ended up giving it away for to it's limited use.

Super fun

I bought this because I wanted to be a little lazy this summer and sleep in or at least sleep until 8am once a week without children screaming at me to come downstairs and make them breakfast. I hand washed the dispenser and sat it on my counter to dry and my children woke me up because it was finally dry enough for me to fill. They are excited for it so I am in return excited for it, the turning mechanism works well without spilling too much cereal into a bowl, and the seals seem to be enough so that the cereal won't go stale. My only "issue" is pretty trivial to be honest, I wish there was just a little bit more space between where you place a bowl and receive your cereal. If you have ridiculously tall bowls they probably wont fit but it works exactly as I wanted it to and I am even going to order another one so my kids don't fight about which cereal is in it.

Loose Gummy Bears

So I explicitly bought this as a more sanitary way to dispense gummy bears in my office (rather than the mason jar they have lived in for the last several years). The dispenser is easy to use and assemble. Has a huge canister so you can store plenty. My one gripe is that the paddles make it so that gummy's are hanging on after the dispense which means they later fall down and I end up throwing away several gummy bears a day

Perfect for snacks

works well but….

I bought this because i am sick of fighting to get cereal out of a box, ending up with crushed cereal crumbs at the bottom and staring at the box on the counter. I like the look ( much ) better than a box I’m not a big cereal eater ( once a week ) and the cereal has stayed perfectly fresh It doesn’t crush the cereal. Have to admit this was a pleasant surprise as I expected it would. It’s had Special K in it so I think that’s a good test as flakes are more delicate than cereals like cheerios It dispenses very easily. The dial is very easy to turn with little resistance but when you stop turning cereal stops coming out - so you do get just what you want it doesn’t “leak” cereal. The cap on the bottom goes on/off easily and has a silicone ring so it’s a nice seal for freshness. When putting it back on it will push the whole bin up which is not good design. My only unhappiness ( and why i took off one star ) is as others have commented it’s not well balanced. It could tip over easily. It’s not an actual issue as long as you hold the frame with one hand and dispense with the other. It’s easily done and works well. I haven’t had it tip over. I don’t think i would like to use it with kids. I can’t imagine it being very long before it fell over with little hands grabbing the dial. It doesn’t look cheap but it is cheaply made. It’s very simple so really not much to go wrong so despite that if not handled roughly I expect it will likely last a long timeZ Overall quite pleased - beats a box on the counter ! ????

Semplice e di design

Ne ho presi praticamente 3 e devo dire che mi trovo divinamente. Ideale per B&B e piccoli hotel. Io ho 25 posti letto e va più che bene, la cameriera lo ricarica un giorno si e un giorno no; e i cereali si mantengono sempre freschi. Nella confezione viene fornito un tappo da mettere sotto quando non lo si utilizza così i cereali si conservano perfettamente.

No funciona con cereal

The media could not be loaded. Bastante duroooo, y va quebrando todo el cereal al salir :( no me gustó. Sólo luce bonito en la cocina pero no cumple su función
