Great sensory play item for all ages

I am still surprised at how much my daughter plays with this sand. Its far better than playdoh to clean up. It's relaxing and you can use almost anything to make a nice mold. We put it in a large plastic tray and play with it then simply put the cover on when we are done. I actually added essential oils to ours to make it extra relaxing..... we love it.

This is the gift that keeps on giving. 6lbs seams like A LOT of sand and it is but it’s totally worth it. My eight year old loves all the options waste has with this set.

I love playing with kinetic sand! Is soft and definitely does not dry out. Just use lotion on your hands after as the sand will dry out your hands.

Great Granddaughter (3yo) LOVES IT.

Great Granddaughter (3 yo) loves her sandbox. When the weather got to cold for playing outdoors she would cry to play in her sandbox. This Kinetic Sand solved the problem in a flash. She loves it.

I have bought this sand in the past for my niece and bought this jumbo box for my daughters indoor sandbox. Hours of quiet, fun, creative time. Keeps my daughter busy and allows me to get a few chores done as a single mom. Win!win!

Awesome stuff!

The National Geographic Kinetic sand is great, my daughter wanted to buy it with her Amazon card she got for Christmas and has been having so much fun with it! It's a great value for your money because you're getting 3 2lb bags and 3 colors! It's been so easy to clean just stuck it in a large container she can play in and a plastic placemat to play on.

6 pounds of sand is ore than enough

Don't get fooled by the small sized box, once the 3 sand packages are open, it is plentiful. Really enjoyed playing with it myself, the feeling is odd, it does not stay stiff like real sand, but still manages to keep the forms you create. I did not find the sand boxes offered here very practical, mainly because you need to keep the sand from drying out and also put it away, or carry with you, thus in a closed box. I purchased a Really Useful Box 18 Litre Clear and as you see on the picture, it is enough but you could do a bit bigger if you don't want the three colours to be mixed. I find working the sand in the box is really convenient and you just put the lid on and carry anywhere with your child. It's ideal for hours of playing indoors on rainy days but you may take it out on the terrace or even in the garden too if you don't care for real sand. It won't make a mess provided it stays in its box, and it doesn't stain nor stick (I worked with it for two hours). It's a really nice alternative to the outdoor sand box, and less of a mess provided your child doesn't spill it all over the floor or table.
