Great part, if I could use it

I purchased this replacement wheel after one on my dishwasher melted (no idea how that happened with regular use). The exact wheel I wanted arrived. Unfortunately, the part that connects it to the rack was not attached. I also can't get that part disconnected from the melted wheel. I've tried several different things to try to detach it but nothing has worked. The new wheel is now basically a paperweight, as is the old melted one. If this has happened to you, try detaching the wheel from the connecting piece before ordering the replacement wheel.
