Works okay. Has an old type bulb, but probably hard to find replacement bulb when it burns out or if you accidentally drop the tester.

Not K-D brand like it says

The tool may work fine, but it's definitely not a KD tool. Just another American company going with foreign made junk or being bought out by a foreign company. This tester is made in Taiwan. If it's a gear wrench tester, the item description should say so! K-D tools are much better quality!

Sturdy

This is a pretty sturdy hand tool. It feels solid and well made. Clip could be a little bigger but it is only for 12 volt testing so I can't give an example off hand where it would benefit it.

good quality test light.

Its a good sturdy test light with a sharp tip and a good design.A lot of testers have the bulb inside the handle,this one has it in the top of the probe,so your hand doesn't obstruct the light.
