Great universal remote

This is a great Universal remote. I use it on an old TV not the newer flat screen type. I gave it four stars because it doesn't have an option for a VCR which unfortunately my husband still uses despite having the option to use a Blu-ray DVD player instead.

The setup was pretty quick and painless

Not much to say other than it works as designed. I found a 19" little flat screen t.v. on the side of the road for free that i decided to hang in my garage. The t.v. didnt have a remote w/ it so that is what I got this for. The setup was pretty quick and painless. Comes with an "auto" feature that will allow it to scan for the correct device code instead of typing one in (seeing that this tv i found wasnt listed in the code list this worked out perfectly). Scan took maybe 5 mins and remote was fully functional after that. $6 isnt a bad deal to spend on a free t.v.!

Not working!

Bought this remote to have a second one in the living room for my husband for a stocking stuffer. I thought I purchased the same type as I had purchased before which works great but my husband could not get this one to work on our Vizio TV. He's pretty handy but has given up on this one. Hopefully the manufacturer will see this and replace it. Between the holidays and medical issues haven't had the time to mess with returning it. Haven't had to replace many things from Amazon so this was quite disappointing!

Roku problem

I bought it for my roku TV that has no numbers on the remote. Well this one will not let me use the numbers and they say it's roku fault. Power, volume and channel up and down work great.

Very simple, inexpensive remote

The Ge Jasrm 24911 remote works well. There are no extra features, but it is very cheap and good for simple TV viewing usage. It sets up easily and has no connection issues. It is on the small side, and it is somewhat easy to lose. It looks like a mid-range remote, not being extremely light and flimsy, but still not super aesthetically pleasing. Good remote if you are looking for basic controls at a low cost.

the setup and operation worked like a charm

The unit performed very basic operations the three devices chosen. Unfortunately, the volume control only worked with two of the units. The DVD/VCR device lacked volume control, necessitating switching back to whichever other device was in operation to raise or lower the volume. This was the initial results of setup. Otherwise, the setup and operation worked like a charm.

Exactly as advertised

Super easy to use. No frills but just works. Should have ordered the one with the backlight but this works and I’m happy with it.

Great for the price!

For the price this is great! I took away a star because it has this odd "shift" feature. For example, if you want to click menu you need to hold down a different button first. Sort of like you do with caps lock on a keyboard.
