Gardener Bender GK-15

The quality of this product was much better than I expected for the price. The crimping tool is as good as the more expensive Belden brand. The quality of the crimping pieces is very good. The connector sheath stays on the crimping sleeve after crimping which is usually not the case with cheap connectors. I gave it 4 Stars because nothing is perfect.

Cuts machine screws

The crimpers do the job, but don't bother with the wire strippers unless you're desperate -- get a dedicated set of strippers where the jaws slide past each other like scissors. This is what I expected, so this product still gets 5 stars. What I actually use these for the most is cutting 4-40 screws to the right length. Go figure.

It does a good job for me!

I am an electronics hobbyist and I primarily work on computers. This kit is ideal to have around the home to splice wires, crimp on terminals, and cut or strip wire. It comes with a Gardner Bender Multi-tool and an assortment of 100 various sizes of splicing and connecting terminals. It is all stored in a handy little plastic box that I throw into my computer tool box. I have hundreds of specialty tools so I primarily only use this to crimp on terminals or to splice wires. It works well for that purpose and it is nice to have all the items in one case. I have better cutters and strippers for small wires and depend on them for that type of work. It has been handy for me and I am happy with it!

Poorly made

The tool itself is so poorly made that the jaws will barely come together enough to strip any wire! It is a good thing that I found my old cutters. The entire kit is a duplicate of my old one except the quality is about half. Stay away from this..it is like buying nothing.
