I'm a full-time university student who also works shift work full time. I wanted a bag to store my 13" MacBook Pro and most of my necessities for work and school. My previous bags were usually freebies given to me by work, and were like my old school backpacks I remember using in high school 15 years ago. Just overly large open bags made for lugging 5-6 20lb textbooks around and no organization. I almost went for one of the cheaper 20-30 dollar bags here on Amazon, but I recently bought an eBags lunch cooler that really liked, so I decided I'd give them some more of my money and do not regret it. Pros: -The Sage Green color. It was risky, because I didn't see any customer pics of it, but I didn't really want grey or black. I love the color, better than I imagined. Contrasts nicely with the Orange too. -Lots of pockets. I love being organized and hate digging around in the bottom of by bag for things. I can keep almost everything I need in the front pockets, and find it all so easily. - Very comfortable. Maybe I'm not a good judge of this, as my previous bags were cheap freebies with think straps and no back support. I don't know why I waited so long to upgrade, it's helping my back out so much. I hardly feel this thing on my back. -Size. Personally, I love the size. Not too big, not too small. I guess if anything, I wish it was a tad thicker. I'll probably try and downgrade by 2" binder to a 1.5" if I can manage it, and see how that works. -Elastic Handles. Never seen this on another bag before, it's a nice detail! -Zippers. The zippers are very nice, high quality. Cons: - Maybe I haven't figured it out yet (only had the bag a few days, still discovering little details), but I wish there was a neat way to hold the extra strap length on the shoulder straps and the chest strap when it's not being used. I like to have my backpack high on my back when I use it, and when doing so, I have a lot of extra stuff hanging everywhere. - I'm not sure what the solution would be, but I wish the padding in the laptop compartment had a little more coverage on the bottom, or I wish the sleeve had it's own padding at the bottom. - Size/Compartments. Yes, this is also a con for me. To be fair, if i went with the regular size over the jr., I probably wouldn't have this problem, but I went with the Jr. since I use a 13" laptop and didnt want a lot of extra space on the top and bottom of my laptop. I can't quite fit my 2" binder in the second compartment without removing the hard liner in the "garage". Besides all of my small knick knacks which go in my front pocket (ink, eraser, lead refills, dongles, phone charger, screen wipes, pens/pencils/markers, battery backup, airpods), I really only have 3 things I take with me everywhere. A 13" MBP, it's charger, and a 2" binder. My initial instinct was to put the laptop in the back compartment in the sleeve, and put the 2" binder in the same compartment, outside of the sleeve. Only planned on keeping my umbrella in the front compartment, and maybe a random small book for reading occasionally. Problem I quickly realized with this, is that bottom edge of the laptop wasn't padded when it was in the sleeve. What I've done instead is remove the "garage" so I can fit my binder in that compartment, and put my laptop in the back compartment, outside of the sleeve (where there's padding). I still keep my laptop charger in that "garage" pcoket, jsut doesn't have a shell around it anymore, but I'm not too worried about it. The other option would be to keep the laptop and binder right next to each other, outside the sleeve, in the back compartment.
