Very cute wall lantern

We love it and will be getting several more to match. It's really cute, reminiscent of the Hogwarts Sorting Hat. Arrived on-time with no damage. Looks excellent against a moss-green wall. Installation was straightforward. I ended up reusing the existing brackets rather than using the new one, because the screws supplied are longer than needed *and* the original contractor hadn't offset the J-box so the screws fit properly. The clear, rippled glass looks nice, and the metal finish is neat. Paired it withthese amber 6W edison-style LED filament bulbs , and that combination looks pretty sharp. The lantern has a sturdy feel. The glass has some rattle room, so I'll be inserting some self-adhesive vinyl dots as shims. The backplate buttons take a 7mm nut driver. They should typically be adequate thumb screwed in, but due to our windy locale, I wanted to be sure they were tightened a quarter-turn more than frozen fingers could muster, today.

I had high hopes for these, but they're honestly ...

I had high hopes for these, but they're honestly just OK. I don't see them withstanding more than a few years as the surface is cheaply (and poorly) painted. Certain screws weren't really reliable and one came stripped. When they are mounted on the house, the bottom looks tilted, especially noticeable when you're looking at them from the side. Very fragile. I'm willing to live with them but am already looking at what else is out there because, as I said, I don't see these withstanding more than a few years.

Sturdy and elegant

I have a wrought iron screen door, this was the perfect addition to accent my front door. The glass is lovely and doesn’t show dust or the lightbulb within. Highly recommended.

Really like the way they looked

Purchased two of these lights for the new porch. Really like the way they looked, and would have liked to give a four/five star rating, but one of the glass cylinders had a chip out of it.

Does not hang straight.

Pretty good but they don't hang straight which ruins the effect.
