A fan's dream

Being a fan of the movie made this a must-buy! The game is fun, easy to learn, and most importantly looks and plays amazingly!

I CAN dig it.

Cyrus desired unity...this game achieves it. ANY 45+ y/o will be able to recall something of the famous movie, and should be easily convinced to give this a try. This is most definitely a gateway game. The choices are fairly straight forward. HOWEVER, the hand management becomes quite interesting as your choices reduce per battle. The rest mechanic is a nice and simple way to have "Stamina", because you do remove one card from the game during a rest. With a 4 player count, the resource spaces will get VERY thin, and the number of Warriors in each battle will be a constant variable. Observations: Standees for Warriors vs. Minis for Rivals. - This is the right move. For a gateway/light game... not many people will paint minis, and it is VERY easy to tell which rival gang is represented both in mini and card form. - Also very easy to see which Warrior is yours. Limiting to 4 player - Again the right choice. Using the remaining Warriors as your support deck really ramps up the replay value. - Ajax is NOT included in this game... I hope Funko/Prospero Hall have an expansion in the wings ready to ship. All-in-all this game simulates the frantic run (gangs in the 70's really hit the cardio hard) from the Bronx to Coney Island all while dealing with limited resources and constant adversarial pressure. I CAN dig it.

Its a fun and immersive experience... Couple of small issues tho...

Got this game last month and played it with the original miniatures... And it was fun... We missed a rule about removing cards from the game, and we beat the game with a little difficulty. Then my friend painted the miniatures and we figured out the proper rules, and we got our butts handed to us... The key takeaway is that this game was fun and immersive and getting from the Bronx to Coney is NOT easy... There are a couple of weird inclusions and exclusions... For example Ajax and Cleon werent included in the Warriors playable characters... I get that Ajax was arrested for being morally bad, but Cleon was amazing... Fox was included so it wasnt about not making it to the end of the movie... Also, there was no Orphan character representation, but there was a Hi-Hat character - and the Orphans were much more important in the movie... And finally, there was no Luther, but the 2nd-in-Command of the Rogues.. The rest were pretty appropriate tho... Its a tough game, but its also fun... Definitely had the vibe of making it thru New York City without getting killed... If you love the movie, its definitely worth it!

Must have for any Warriors fan

While the game isn't that easy to play I'm a huge fan of The Warriors so I love anything related to the movie. Definitely a must have for any true fan. And the price is great.

Nostalgic? Yes!

Fun game. Really easy to play. Quick play through. Good for filling a small portion of time. Worth the price.

If you are a huge warriors movie fan, a must have!

Its a must have in every warriors fan collection, even if you don't play board games. I have kids, so we love board games. I also love The warriors movie, and had my kids watch it with me (just like my Dad made me). So this game is amazing for us and will definitely be a family favorite for years.

Warriors Come Out to Play!

The box is beautiful and playing my favorite New York Street gang, The Warriors was an idea to enticing to ignore. I've play tested the game several times now after studying the rules and watching online tutorials, and I've had some questions. First off, where's Ajax? The most uncontrollable dangerous Warrior is no where to be found in the game. The game has a fair balance and flow. I've beaten the game several times with two characters, but it gets more difficult with more in play. I wish the plastic characters would have been either painted or a little easier to paint. Not a bad game, but unfortunately not great either. I do like the idea of putting The Warriors into action! I'd give it 2 and a half stars.

Great cooperative game

This is a fun game, little complex at first but after a couple of times playing the game they become second nature.
