Perfect fit!

I bought this 7/32” router bit to cut dados for 1/4” plywood drawer bottoms. The dado was a perfect fit ~ snug but not tight. Couldn’t have been better. I cut them all afternoon and the bit is still razor sharp. I just cleaned off a little pine resin, put a light oil film on, and they’ll be ready to go next time. Definite keeper.

Nice Fit

Perfect size for dadoes when you have to fit typical 1/4" plywood. I'm in New York and typically buy sheets of "1/4" birch plywood from local lumber store. The typical plywood is well under 1/4" thick and if you cut with a 1/4" bit it is way too loose. So anyway I took a chance and bought this 7/32" router bit and it fit the plywood perfectly, not too tight, not too loose. I've cut about 40 dadoes or so and have been very pleased with the quality of the bit and the perfect fit that it allows.

This is the size bit you"ll need to fit today's 1/4" plywood.

High quality bit that's the perfect size you need for grooves to hold modern 1/4 plywood that's really 7/32 or close to it depending on how good the plywood manufacturer was doing that day. Quarter inch cherry, oak, walnut, etc plywood will slip fit into the groove this makes nearly perfectly. It's held up well after quite a few dozen feet of grooves, just do a double pass as it's really not that good at chip removal. Highly recommend.

Yep, it's a router bit...

It's typical Freud quality. You know what you're getting here. This is the perfect size for StewMac truss rods if you are doing and luthier-ing.

Anyone who has ever used Freud router bits know it's a great bit. They are some of the best and I can't find anything negative with Freud products.
