felt like a winter sock to hot for summer

I bought 5 different pairs of socks to compare in a hot arid environment in my combat boots on a deployment. im a pog that builds stuff so they put in work. the socks are as follows pay attention to material when you buy socks how they hold and ease of removal play a huge difference under armour tactical heat gear-- favorite sock. 281Z Military Boot Socks-- 2nd fav these are almost as awesome they just feel dirtier when you pull em off otherwise no complaints Darn Tough Tactical Boot Cushion Sock- these are pricey! they felt to tight the first few times but broke in nicely no complaints this far very comparable to the other two thus far. these do have a lifetime guarantee I dont think the others do I find my self gravitating to the first 3 brands until laundry day then ill have to wear the others below FoxRiver Men's Wick Dry Stryker Mid-Calf- these are super comfy but THICK not a summer sock. they can bunch up in certain environments and sag on the calf. Military Wick Dry Maximum Mid Calf Boot Sock-- i bought this one by accident i have the green version loved them on my first deployment then after 4 months they were just Meh. the material in them is not as much spandex so taking them off is kinda a pain in the ass. they feel good but really start to sag after a few weeks. this is by far the least favorite of the bunch

Super comfy

Very nice oroduct. The meterial is so comfy i feel like extra pad on my shoe. Its used better in the winter . I live in thr middle east so not good for me to use it in this 105+ heat. And my feet are not swety feet. However i used it few times in the summer and i was okay.

Wore out in 3 weeks on toe

Poorly made. A small hole wore out on every paid in the same/similar spot were the seam is. Expensive for lasting only a few weeks. Will not buy again. Slow to respond to emails. Gotcan RA to mail back which cost $30 to mail back to them. Mailed them back and they refused to replace them, even with an approved RA to return them blamingvthe shoes. No other brand sock has ever done that. Then asked me to pay again to get them back again so I could darn them. Worst company to ever deal with.

I love these socks

I love these socks! I serve in the United States Navy, and recently we had to switch from Rocky boots to Belleville boots with force-wide concern that Rocky boot are a greater slip hazard aboard a ship. The Belleville boots are way uncomfy. I needed new socks for an upcoming, 2-week long field exercise and I didn't feel like buying standard issue socks from the NEX. I decided to try these Fox River socks... When I received my new socks, I wasn't really feeling the fact that a rolled pair takes up at least 1/3 more space than the standard issued socks do... But when I actually wore them during field OPs... WOW! These Fox River turned my stiff ass, Belleville boot wearing experience into pure joy! The first time I wore them, I couldn't take my boots off for at least 30 hours. And the socks really didn't smell too bad... I think most of the bacteria stayed with my feet or my boots.

Fox River Strykers

W/money burning a hole in my pocket on deployment to Iraq in '08, i decided to buy some $13 Fox Rivers to see what the hype was about triple priced socks. Last month, Nov 2013, I realized in amazement that those same sox are still working strong in my sock arsenal and DON'T HAVE HOLES!!!!!!! When i realized i've been thru over a dozen other $8 pairs, thrown away with holes & thinning. The FR's last a long time, plain & simple. Very satisfied. This model "Stryker" sock, in particular, are the same awesome quality but much thicker than the "Maximum" which i also bought a pair of. These sox are perfect if: you have boots that have some room to spare (1/2size big/loose), or have cold feets; They're a bit too thick for my everyday boots.

Best Socks I've Ever Had

This was my second order of these socks and I'm still as pleased with them as I was with my first two pair. I'm a firefighter and my feet take a beating during the day, especially during brushfire season. They're thick but I like them like that. The only work socks I'll ever buy from here on out.

Great socks

Fox river socks are great. I bought a pair of Darn Tough socks, that were twice as much and they weren’t even close to the comfort of Fox River. Best boot sock I ever had.

No es lo que esperaba

Estan muy comodos y acolchonados llegan casi a cubrir todo el chamorro no aprietan de mas (para ctalla 7.5), los estrene al siguiente dia que me llegaron y cuando me quito la bota, zaz me doy cuenta que tienen un hoyo >_>, es el 3er par que compro de esta marca pero diferente modelo, por lo pronto estaré probando otras marcas.

Good sock

It's warm. Probably best in winter to wear them as they are thick. They have a soft sole makes standing in one spot a little more bareable.
