Florsheim comes in wide, but for this style its not wide

Trying to get ready for a family function in April and have ordered several different shoes from different brands. THIS IS A GREAT LOOKING SHOE. I am down to a Florsheim safety footwear and this and I now see the safety footwear has a EEE which would explain why it is wider. However, normally just WIDE works for me. My other choice is the Rockport Zaden plain toe oxford in WIDE which fits good. My point being, is in this particular brand WIDE may not be WIDE enough as in other brands.
