Easy Install

The Korky Flapper device is great! My old one was not stopping the water, very old. Ordered this new one, took the old one out and put the new one in. Flushed the toilet and it works great! Low cost and easy fix!!

I not sure they are worth the money

I installed these in all five of my toilets because our water bill doubled in one month. I know that at least three of my toilets were definitely running 24 hours a day due to these valves. I only gave them four stars because I am having a problem adjusting one of them and I’m just not sure that they’re worth the extra money. The one that I’m having problems adjusting, I had to replace the fill valve as well. I replaced it with a Korky Quiet Fill fill valve. For some reason, I cannot find the correct setting on the flapper valve to get it to flush without having to hold the handle down for three seconds. I have tried all of the possible settings and nothing works. I am ready to get rid of the Korky fill valve and just install a cheap generic valve. The other four Korky flappers in my house work fine with the generic fill valves that came in the toilets.

Bought this to fix the toilet occasionally filling up when not in use due to a leaky flapper. It did the job.

Did not work for ME

This "universal" flapper did not work on my Kohler toilet tank. Sure, it seals the valve, but only some times, allowing water to leak to the bowl more often than not. I figured that the legs (for the hinging motion) are too soft and squishy, which make the flapper twist or shift after flushing and causing constant leakeage. The flow adjustment features were useless to me, the different settings did not have an effect whatsoever on the flushing performance or leaks. They need to make this with stiffer legs. A Kholer branded flapper seems to work for me.
