Very sturdy for rough baby play

A really sturdy toy for one year old babies. They love the music although it does not play very loud. It stands stands up to being thrown and treated rough. I think that they would listen to the music if it played louder. When other babies are crying or noisy, it is hard to hear the music. When they hear the music, they stop and listen to it and try to dance to the beat.

Our little guy loves this so much! He’s about to turn 4 months and loves all the songs it plays!

Not like the real thing.

I thought I can trick my 1yo by offering this toy instead of a real remote. But the kid immediately realizes it does nothing to the big flashy thing on the wall with all the bright colors (and non-stop YouTube ads) and tossed it aside and reached for the real thing. The toy itself is high quality plastic. It has been dropped, kicked, swatted, thrown, bitten and still keeps on ticking. I wished the four buttons that formed the circle near the top is oriented as up/down/left/right instead of north east/south east/south west/north west. It would've made it more realistic. Also wished there is a version that is not as colorful and has your typical dark colors of a real remote. I can give the kid a real remote with no batteries in it, but it is teething season, and a real remote has potentially toxic electronic parts in it that does not mix well with drool and slobber.

Nice cheap gift

It’s a nice gift to give to your toddlers who want the remote all the time. But my son has a short attention span with it and only uses it for short periods.

10 month old gift

Bought this for my 10month old in an attempt to get our TV remote back. He is still in love with the “real” remote but this has been a great distraction and e gaging toy for my LO. He loves the different songs and sounds.

Great distraction!

Great distraction for our child who grabs at anything with buttons and lights. Only downfall is that the volume isn't adjustable.
