These are absolutely amazing filters

I've been buying cheap filters for years. They never really caught much and I rarely had to change them. Fast forward to me purchasing these, in an effort to clean up the air in our living space. I figured if I'm going to spend the money might as well go big or go home. The attached picture is after thirty days. The picture doesn't do it justice, this thing is completely black. I will never go back to cheapies again.

Overall I am happy with the product, it came packaged well and was on time. I just wish that both filters were individually wrapped because now when I open it, I’ll be using one and leaving the other one, open and just on standby for atleast 3 months until it’s time to switch them. This may not be an issue for someone else, and isn’t a huge issue for me. I’m definitely keeping them but for future reference I will try to find them individually wrapped next time.

Does not filter smoke, at least not the smell of the smoke

This was supposed to filter away smoke, at MPR 1900. One of my neighbors is an old woman, and she burns her trash several times per week (!). I asked her to stop doing it, but with no effect. I live in Hong Kong, and some older people just burn everything, rather than recycling it or taking it to the trash. Her smoke goes into my HVAC system, and the whole house smells. I got these filters expecting to capture the smoke. It likely captures some of the smoke content, but not the smell. The whole house still smells like a campfire every time she burns her trash. Maybe I was just expecting too much. Maybe I need to add an active carbon filter?

Worth the cost

This upgraded filter has drastically improved our air quality, cut down on dust drastically (we live in dusty Arizona) and is keeping our system itself cleaner. It is listed for being good for three months but I am reordering early to have it on hand. Great product and has already paid for itself 2 times over!

Always available

This is my go-to brand and filtering level, but not always available and not carried in other home improvement or hardware stores I shop. I like buying two at a time, which, for whatever reason, I don’t do when there are more than one on the shelf. False sense of “Good! They’re back in stock,” probably.

Massively reduced my allergy symptoms!

These filters truly helped me a ton. My allergies are a tremendous amount better, which also helped with my asthma. They work really well. It didn't fit the filter slot on my furnace/AC but I think that is something to do with the slot itself and not the filter. I ended up just forcing it in and works great.

Clean Air finally!

I replace my air filter every month or three months depending on what the filter looks like. I am on my second filter now. Keeps my air clean.
