Really fantastic waterproof bandages

Nexcare is an amazing brand for great quality, waterproof bandages that actually work. I decided to try the 10-pack with assorted sizes specifically because of the gel pad feature. These bandages go on easily and seamlessly with minimal effort once you figure out how to apply them correctly. There's no cloth pad so the entire bandage is see through. Despite the absence of a cloth pad, it still wears comfortably with no irritation. I wish Nexcare had a pack containing the large bandages only, though! I already have another box as back up. I wasted a few of these bandaids before I was able to properly apply them, so here's how to do it! First, you peel off the bandaid from the paper wrapping. Depending on how you peel it, you might need to peel again (from the plastic backing this time), but it's usually ready to use after the first peel. Apply the bandaid to where you need it to be and press firmly to close up any gaps. Peel off the plastic bits up top and voila!

Best bandages - especially for scrapes and blisters

These are GREAT bandages - you can leave them on for several days and they stay and really let your body heal underneath. I especially like them for shallow scrapes where you have skinned a spot - usually those take forever to heal and the scabs will crack and bleed, yuck. With these you just leave the bandage on for a few days and you’ll have new pink skin underneath without ever forming a scab. It’s like magic!

Wasted about 60% of these trying to use

Difficult to use, cumbersome for even two hands. One-handed, it doesn’t end well. Tape is so delicate it easily folds over and sticks to itself, then of course falls off and must be trashed. If I do succeed in placing correctly, it does stick well and remains dry.

Great hydrogel bandage

I forgot this was a hydrogel bandage, but it's different than the ones you get from J&J - this uses a thinner gel, and uses Tegaderm to stick to the skin (great idea for other bandages, too!). Overall, great for anything that is not actively bleeding or even boils on your body. Probaby shouldn't use it on your face, though.

These are great hydrocolloid bandages. They stay on fairly well and speed healing by quite a bit

Perfect

I used these recently for my toddler who had a scrape on his knee. The wound kept opening up and he didn’t like changing his bandages after every shower. Came across this product and it worked great, unlike the typical hydro colloidal bandages they are totally waterproof and don’t furl at the edges which was important for me. Nothing worse than having a curious kid picking at the edge of the bandage or having miscellaneous stuff getting stuck to the edges. Once you put these on, leave them on till they come loose naturally. And don’t apply neosporin or anything to it as it will reduce the efficiacy (won’t stick well). I left the bandage on his knee and around 3-4 days later it separated naturally from his wound and it was all healed. Wonderful product. Costly but worth keeping a box around for these purposes.

High price, poor packaging. Works ok.

Poor packaging, mediocre performance. A products that milks on slowly aging adhesive technology and would have survive only it weren’t for manufacturer trying to charge a premium off it while competitors are coming with alternatives if not better products.

Some hard to remove

These are not inexpensive so you try to carefully use them so not to have them go to waste. (I get it, you take off the outer paper. Put it on to the skin and then peel off the white remaining edges.) But sometimes when properly opening, the outer paper gets stuck to the sticky part and will not separate easily. One can be careful but still have a mess and unwanted crinkles.
