First let me say, I love Amazon Prime. I order various items all the time. The service is great, swift, and usually the best price and convenience available. I've been a member for years now. I ordered several different colors of this apron style because I volunteered to embroider them for a nursing home staff. The ladies tried them, everyone of any size appeared to make adjustments to make the aprons fit. I also test embroidered a design on the black (I bought one each of black, tan, and white). The embroidery looked beautiful; I suggest using a design that is satin stitch or has good coverage. I think it would be hard to see line art embroidery. Just my opinion. Then, I washed the tan and black in the same load, cold wash, with a color catcher sheet. Absolutely no fading from the black apron. I hung them to dry and there were very few wrinkles. The women loved the 3 pockets, extra long ties, and adjustable neckline. So all in all, a very good product. I showed the ladies the various colors and they agreed on the Hunter Green. And here is where the company lost a star. Each color has it's own price! I'm not wealthy and the price difference made the choice apparent: I could not afford 30 Hunter Green aprons. So, I clicked on the button that allowed me to write the company. I told them what I was doing and about the price (THE most expensive apron on the list) and how it would make or break my decision to purchase. Amazon sent an email saying it would take 2 days to get a reply. The company sent a robo-email that a reply would be in 2 days. No such reply ever came. The price was 17.45 for the Hunter Green apron. Average price of other apron choices was 8-10 dollars. Huge difference. When I didn't get a response, I went online and found another source for, are you ready?, the SAME apron. I could purchase 3 aprons in the Hunter Green for less than 17.45. So I placed my order. I never did hear from the company and waited a week. I now have the product I need for the workers in the nursing home because I ordered from the other company, who gave me another percentage off for a bulk order. I did have to pay shipping. I'm a prime customer and use Amazon all the time. But will not order anymore of this product through Amazon as I need bulk amounts. I decided to check back on the apron today and leave a review, especially because the apron IS good quality and lived up to everything I needed it to do. The price is now much lower (9.25). I was never notified that they lowered the price. However, if you browse the different colors, some still are in the very high range. Someone somewhere changed the price of the Hunter Green apron. The Nutmeg is 16.38. So, whoever jacked up the price on the green aprons really did me a favor. They forced me to look elsewhere and even at their new "lower" price, I'm paying 2 for 1. It payed for me to do my homework instead of just blindly ordering from Amazon. And had I not ordered from the other company, I was still never contacted. The other company? Well, they were fantastic, in the line of Hurricane Irma in GA (this was over a week before landfall in GA), and still delivered quickly (2 days). If you need only one or two, this is a great apron and a decent price and prime (free shipping). If you need bulk, do an internet search. They are out there.
