Decent for holding mail

Ended up returning this because I found one that was more sturdy locally that would hold hanging files without tipping over. This one has magnets that I didn't use or plan to based on the reviews, so that's not why I returned this. This is a nice looking piece; I just found something that suits my needs better.

Good for what I needed

Well, to start, Amazon shipped this in a poly bag & it came squished. It was easy enough to straighten back out since the material is very thin & bendy. The magnets barely stuck to the metal side of my desk. I ended up having to get tiny zip ties and fishing them thru the mesh holes and then secure them to the edge of the desk.

Good idea but not strong

Solid. Magnets could be better.

Solid, sturdy, looks great in our office. Attached to a solid steel heavy filing cabinet, the magnets work well enough for normal use. Even still, I brace it underneath with a hide-a-key box that has exceptionally strong magnets, and it doesn't move an inch with heavier loads, so that works for our needs. I tried it on my fridge and other less magnetic surfaces; no good. It would barely hold its position, even empty. It should definitely have come with stronger magnets, then it would be 5 stars.

Needs more magnets

I keep this in my shop and put owners manuals in it, attached to a roll away tool box. I have many manuals in it but nowhere near full and the magnets already will not hold it up. I have additional magnets to glue on and I’m sure it will work but haven’t done so yet. Other than that it’s pretty solid.

Weak Magnets

The item arrived bent but was easy to straighten. However, even after reshaping, it would not stick to my fridge. I had to use extra magnetic clips to hold it in place, and even with those, I had to place it above another item to keep it from sliding down. I would purchase it again, along with some type of magnetic strip or clips to hold it in place.

Magnets not strong enough

Basket is a good size but I had to reinforce the magnets with stronger ones to make it stick and hold.

Magnets are not strong enough

I just put a little bit of paper in mine and it will not hold up. It keeps sliding down. There is so little weight in it. I think it would slide down empty. The magnets just aren’t strong enough for the weight of the basket itself.
