Cools head for half hour

Small and flat. Fits easily in helmet. Comfortable. Holds little water so must be reapplied every half hour or so.

Hard had cooling liner

This is very slim and slender. I bought the wrong thing though. The customer service was awesome and so fast. If you wear a hard hat and need to stay cool...I would say buy this. I am going to sew and reconstruct it to fit a regular hat.

Swells too much

Gelpods swell too much and it just soaks up sweat and is impossible to wash out. Made break out. Ill fitting on acerpal hardhat too

Cheap yet affective!

It does keep my head cool. More importantly it covers the x-brace that parts my hair after extended periods of use.

Velcro is a little hard on a bald head.

The Velcro is too stiff and it hurts when it comes in contact with bare skin such as a bald head...ouchie

Definitely works and keeps the hard hat cool. Soak in water and youll get 2+ hours usage in 100+ degree weather in Cali. Recommend if you work outdoors like in construction.

The gel will leak

At first I would use this the way it's intended by soaking it in water, and it felt slimy against my skin but I didn't mind. Eventually I stopped soaking it and it makes a great sweatband. The gel inside stays mostly in powder form all day and sweat never drips into my eyes, this really works better than soaking it and "staying cool for hours." Now I wanted to clarify the leaking gel, when it was new I could soak the liner and squeeze it as hard as possible with no leaking, now that I've had it a while, I can squeeze the gel right through the fabric. So I wear it dry and I'm happy anyway.

Would of gave it 5 stars but had to take my padding off my hard hat to get the new pad to fit Could use some more cushioning little thin but so far works well

Useless after a couple of days

Worked well for a few days ONLY! Then all the crystals disappeared. Waste of money.
