Precious shoes, but terrible experience

These shoes are adorable but that's the only good thing about them. First they were sent to me in a clear plastic bag, no cute Elpantatito box like the brand come in.... just thrown in a cleat bag for packaging.... and it seemed as if the shoes had been worn before. The shoe laces were laced different in each shoes... between that, the insider sticker peeling off and the lack of shoe box it really made me question if I had purchased a Authentic pair of Elphantito's.... If they are real I believe they were at least bought and returned (without the packaging) which is always disclosed on Amazon purchases and items are discounted to reflect. Not the case for me they were sold as Brand New and at full retail. The 2nd issue I had is that these run extremely small. Like almost 2 whole sizes small. I bought a 5 thinking I was buying a size up and that they's be big and he'd have plenty of room for growth but his toes came all the way to the end of the shoe. The shoes were also impossible to keep on. I've never had that problem with any of his others. I know babies can pull them off, etc. , but these would literally just pop off constantly. I finally gave up putting them back on and just let him wear socks the rest of the day... pretty upsetting that I paid $60 for a pair of shoes and we can't even wear them while they do (barely) fit because they won't stay on his feet.

Beautiful Shoes.

These are beautiful shoes. Purchased them for my 3 year old grandson.They are a bit stiff so my grandson had to get used to walking in them. In the begining he was walking kind of funny. Hopefully in time the leather will soften. Appear to be very well made and of good quality. Only giving 4 stars due to the stiffness of the leather.

Tried twice for my son and always too small

I LOVE the quality of elephantito shoes and they were by far my favorite saddle shoes for my toddler. I ordered his size about 6-9 months ago and couldn't even get his foot into the shoe, even with the laces unlaced and the tongue held up. I tried again now that he's a toddler and wearing a size 7 and again, I couldn't even get his foot in the shoe no matter what I tried. He doesn't have abnormally chubby feet but perhaps they are just bigger or wider? Totally disappointed since these are the best looking and feeling shoes out there.

Elephantito Golfers

My son has both these as well as the natural color. He has not yet worn the navy/white ones, but wore the natural color on Easter. They are very nice quality and he said they are very comfortable. He is six and wears a size one in dress shoes so they are true to size.
