My dryer melted it?

I’ve had this comforter for two months now and really liked it. It’s thick, fairly comfortable and washed well the first time. I just washed it again (only the second time) and noticed this large unsightly discoloration when putting it back on the bed. It’s actually melted a little, harder than the rest of the blanket and slightly crinkly. All I can think of is that my dryer on medium melted it somehow? The tag says the outer is 100% cotton, but cotton should not melt like this. Two stars because the filling is generous and that’s rare. But I do not think the outer is 100% cotton as advertised and it is labeled and advertised as machine washable.

Nice colour and feel

Colour is just as pictured with charcoal pinstripes and light/medium grey background. No loose threads or pulls. Would have preferred a sold grey reversible side rather than bright white with polka dots, especially since it has a more masculine look. Also 94" width would have been better than 92" with a 14" thick mattress, but it still comes low enough to avoid using a bed skirt. The cotton is very soft and wrinkles were removed with a garment steamer. Good price compared to BB&B. We will wait to see how it launders.

COMPLETE GARBAGE

I have owned this comforter for all of two months and the threads on the top of the comforter are falling apart leaving holes that could not even be discreetly fixed as they are in the middle of the comforter, what a huge dissappointment
