Velcro straps did not seem long enough

I don't know whether this was a fluke and we received a dud pair, but the velcro strap did not seem long enough for my wife to comfortably secure and not see all of the velcro fuzz. Her feet are not wide and Ecco shoes generally fit her foot like a glove, but this pair was not worth the sale price. We ended up giving them to her mom - she wears them and doesn't seem to mind seeing the velcro fuzz instead of the leather strap. The sole of the shoe was cushy and up to Ecco's quality standards, but the straps were a complete miss.
