So far, an impressive outdoor fire box

Got this medium size for Christmas during a great sale. Finally used it this week as the weather in the Northern tier is moderating. It is very well designed. Lightweight. Attractive. Cover is thick vinyl & fits well. There is no hard cover so you have to wait for the fire to stop before putting the vinyl cover on. It has excellent draw and lights quickly to a powerfully drafting fire. Flames literally shoot up & out, but don't spread outward. It is hot burning, but once started does very well with just one log at a time, it burns so completely. It also burned itself out faster than most. Be sure to flip the top rim as directed when using it. Doing that much improves the smoke pattern and inhibits it from attacking those seated around. The interior vents do a very good job of catching heated air (with smoke) on the way up and stoking the fire again with them. Used as instructed, it is as smoke-free as can be, so more fun to cook over and sit near than run-of-the-mill fire pits. Well worth it!

Great burn!

So far so good…have only done 2 or 3 fires in it late Feb and March. Easy to clean out ash. Cover working great so far in Midwest late winter/early spring precipitation.

The size and price was right. I gave this as a gift for Christmas and they really loved it! I also bought the cover for protection.
