Great quality, low price

For ELF $9 seems a bit excessive, but in the past several years mass market items have become almost as expensive as mid tier products so it really isn’t that bad. Aside from that the component is not made cheaply and locks in place like a higher end lipstick. The wear/feel is similar to the MAC matte variety but you’ll save ~ $13. Spicy, the shade I chose is similar to MAC Chili or Marrakesh. The wear time is decent with little transfer to food or drinks. It does not settle in fine lines or appear patchy. I definitely recommend exfoliant prior to any matte finish lipstick for better wear and this is no exception. There’s no scent or taste I can discern. I really don’t have any cons to list and I would definitely include these in my pro kit without hesitation.

Pretty

I got the shade effortless. It goes on smoothly and has good color pay off. There’s not very much shine. It feels good and lightweight on the lips. It goes well with my dark hair, blue eyes and light complexion

Color chart is not accurate!

I paid for this myself, just a regular person! I got the color "Hustle". It honestly looks nothing like Elf's official photos. It's actually a darker terra cotta/clay pot type of color. Super orange! I have really pale skin, so this color looked awful on me, but I think it could look great on someone with warm toned tan skin. The lipstick is heavily pigmented, not sheer in the slightest. It's mostly matte, but it does have a creamy sort of look to it. It doesn't feel like it will be drying, but I don't like the color so I haven't worn it for an extended period of time. It does transfer to anything that touches your lips. Cups, glasses, food, tissues, etc. However, it doesn't rub the lipstick off... my lips still look the same even though it transferred to my cup. I added some photos for reference!

Great Packaging.

I bought "No Regrets." My expectations were low, as I usually spend a decent amount of money on lipstick. I was hoping it might replacement red Nars lipstick, and dare I say, it's better. The packaging is far nicer, and the lipstick goes on well. The Nars is a more blue red, which I prefer, buy for the pri e point of this, Iwill definitely buy it again. I actually already bought another color of this brand. I'm definitely impressed all the way around.

Only lipstick I can wear

Most lipsticks have ingredients that irritate my lips. I have tried many, and Elf products, including this lipstick, are very comfortable, moisturizing, and do not irritate my lips.

Smooth lipstick, beautiful color

This is a gorgeous lipstick that glides so smoothly on my lips. The colour “No Doubt” is a really pretty shade of light brown/nude - it’s perfect for every day or for going out! It has a subtle satin finish. The consistency of the lipstick is incredible - it’s so creamy and it leaves my lips looking soft and moisturized. Since it’s formulated with marula oil, squalane and jojoba, it’s actually super nourishing. It is pretty long-lasting too, I found myself only needing to re-apply after a few hours. The tube is elegant and sleek, plus it has a magnetic cap so it won’t open up on its own. I would definitely recommend this lipstick and would purchase it again myself. Reasonably priced and great quality!

Nice Nourishing Lipstick

This lipstick from e.l.f. comes in a sleek magnetic tube and easily fits in my purse for touchups when I'm out and about. The magnetic closure is a nice feature that secures the cap and it won't come undone. The lipstick goes on smooth and provides a moist and nourished look to my lips. It's a nice lipstick and smells nice too. The colour stays until it's wiped off or from eating/drinking. I ordered the "No Doubt" colour and it's lighter than the online pictures so it does not quite work with my skin tone as well as I would have liked. It's more of a light brown nude. Overall, a nice nourishing lipstick and offered at a reasonable price of $11.97.

Nice formula but the color is way lighter

I received the E.L.F satin lipstick in the color option "No Doubt". This lipstick glides on smoothly and feels good on my lips. However, the color is a lot lighter than shown in the photographs depicting the shade of this lipstick color. I am not sure if this is due to my skintone or the color itself. Even with several layers it still shows very light on my lips, it is nice but not exactly the shade I was looking for. Will need to be reapplied through out the day/night, especially if eating or drinking.

Great everyday lipstick!

I got the e.l.f. Face Satin Lipstick in the color "No Doubt". I would rate this lipstick as better than pharmacy-grade, but below MAC cosmetic products. The product has a healthy amount of pigment and texture is creamy and easy to glide. It lasts a few hours without having to retouch and perfect for days when you have to dress up for office. The effect is satin and gives a slightly glossy finish, but it's not obvious. Overall, I recommend this!
