bright LED for backyard space

for the space i was installing it was hard to get the wires to be tight and not droopy; you could try to pull it tight to keep it off the ground but it would separate itself from other strands of the lights - i wound up taking a small bungie cord to hook two strands together instead; for the space i was using it on it would have been nice for an extra 3-4 ft to complete a triangle of three strands of lights (shame there was not an option for a cheaper small strand); i set mine on a timer to minimize time on to the evening as it is fairly bright; fortunately the lights are shatterproof and during install prior to using small bungie they would separate and fall 6-7 ft without breaking; i used electrical tape on the connections to keep the rain out; it has rained twice and none of them appear foggy/developed any moisture on insides which was main reason in choosing bistro vs edison style LED light strings; cord appears fairly thick and durable - will be interesting to see how it fairs in through the constant seattle rain

Finally, a bulb string light that doesn't fill up with water.

These lights are made very well. After going through many other cheaper string lights, this set actually hold up to the weather. I recommend stringing them through galvanized stranded cable when hanging them over a distance so as to relieve stress on the wire.

Nice Quality, Bright Lights, Plastic LED Bulbs BUT....

Be aware. These bulbs are NOT REPLACEABLE., they are molded into the socket and the product says LIFETIME WARRANTY on bulbs (not sure how they can make that claim, but ok) These are commercial quality lights and the they look great lit up. Excellent color temperature (i think they are 2700k and not the claimed 2200k) Bulbs are bright and I really like the flush mount sockets (no dangling cable) with short 2 foot spacing and plastic bulb covers. Hard to find this type of stringer.

Well made LED light string

The light stringer and bulbs are very well constructed and look like they will last. Only disappointment is they are not are bright as similarly purchased LED light string.

Worth the money

Bought a 24-foot string of these Bistro lights for our pool area. We loved them so we bought 2 sets of 48-foot strings to finish the pool area. Whole area is now very bright at night...made a huge difference. Super easy to string and bulbs are durable. I drop a string on concryfrom about 5 feet while putting them up. Bulbs didn’t break. Highly recommend these. Amazon had these to us in less than 48 hours.

Excellent Lights

Not too bright, but bright enough. These are well constructed and I feel that they will hold up for a long time. Recommended.
