Perfect for balsa wood architecture models!

These pins are perfect as tiny nails for my balsa scale architecture models. They're like tiny flathead pins, about 1/2" long and they're just the right size to attach pieces of balsa or basswood together for either art or architecture school projects.

I was looking for pons that weren't too long. These are great size and very nice and sharp. They do not snag the fabric.

Teeny tiny pins!

I am using these for securing my applique pieces as recommemded for Piece O' Cake Designs. At first I had trouble manipulating them to pin down my fabric pieces. But with a little bit of practice, I've become better at it. I do agree that even though I'm using a lot of pins, my thread does not catch on them as I'm sewing. I just had to be patient enough to get the hang of it!
