High quality bit

I had to open up some 12mm holes and used this but to pre-drill for a 14mm ream. It easily drilled through both 2.5" long steel parts and still feels sharp. It's made of much nicer tool steel than some I'm bought on Amazon and at big box stores. I used a half inch brushless Ryobi hand drill.

Good drill for steel

I used this drill to cut through 1/4" steel with no issues. You need to keep the drill cool during drilling and cut slowly, stopping the drill if necessary to let things cool off.

Great value

I like that these drill bits come in 1/64" increments, have a reduced 1/2" shank and have flattened jaw landings, machined into the shank to prevent chuck slippage. I have used these on wood and steel, they work great for both.

I was amazed at the prices being charged for bits like this since the pandemic. 2 to 3 times pre-pandemic! This bit was reasonably priced and did the job. 1 day prime delivery. What’s not to like. Step down shank allows it to work in a ⅜” chuck to-boot.

Stayed sharp

I bought there bits to drill holes in my 60 year old car through 2 layers of steel. Stayed shape for the 4 hole I had to drill out.
