Retro look without the 1970s chunk

I remember wearing my mother’s slides in the early 1980s and they were never comfortable. These need to be broken in a bit, but they are fairly comfortable. I love that they are coming back into fashion.

A friend recommended these for me. I ordered b/c they were cute & I remember Dr. Scholls wooden sandals from the 70’s. I loved those!! These didn’t work for me. They felt comfortable. Just a weird fit for me. I returned.

I love Dr Scholl’s originalist slide sandals. I wear them every day

I love Dr School’s classic slides. I bought my first pair of blue leather slides fifty years ago. I’ve been wearing them since. This pair I recently bought isn’t leather. The style isn’t the same. But at least the signature buckle stays and it is comfortable.

I had a pair of these years ago and decided to buy another pair. Just as I imagined.
