Do not use silicone sealant to seal this well nut in place, the silicone will make it slippery and the well nut will have a tendency to pull out of the hole you placed it in. The brass threaded insert will also pull out if tighten too much.

Poor Quality

Poor quality. Pieces of rubber were obstructing a #10-32 screw from easily threading into the brass nut. Consequently, the well nuts started spinning before they expanded.

We’ll nuts are ok, but price and delivery weren’t great

Well nuts we’re ok, but I had to run a tap down all of them as the threads were all tight. I needed 70 well nuts to complete my project so ordered 1 box to make sure they would work. When I tried to order more, the price increased, and was only aloud to order 2 boxes. Once I order the 2 additional boxes the price doubled & I was then aloud to order the rest. Not too happy about that but I needed them for the project so had no choice.

Immensely over priced, check your local automotive store first for less then half the price

These are good well nuts and work as expected I ordered a little to fast without doing my homework, shame on me, got taken. You can source them for less then half the price from your local automotive parts supplier
