Shipping a coat in a bag is not a classy start. Was not impressed with this! After opening and first inspection, I did not see any flaws, but it arrived at night, perhaps tomorrow, in the daylight, I reserve the right to update this initial statement. Tried it on, the 3xtall is true to the description, but coats are not to fit snug. They have to have some play and give. And when worn open, a loose fit compliments a sophisticated attire. Now, I've hung the coat to make it relax, room temperature, it's been in a bag, not happy about that, cheap people, it could have been ripped in shipment, but it's got to relax. A closer inspection in daylight tomorrow! Next is the scarf. It's not good quality, but I buy my own scarves. A gentleman wearing a top coat without a scarf is a naked man! And that is what I classify this coat as............... a topcoat. The color. Black, at any time of day or night, is elegant! Tall big men should always wear a black topcoat, with a scarf and a hat. I prefer a Newsboy cap. We shall see. In the next few days when this coat has a chance to relax, lose the cold and smell of a plastic bag ( you people should be ashamed ), I will amend this review. Also, I will order different buttons, the military-style, to give this coat the added flair it needs to make it stand out.......a dress coat, if you will. You see, I choose to be different.........and so do you!! Start with the basics and build your personality! This is a dress topcoat, at least to me it is. Incidentally, the weight of the wool and structure is impressive. This is where you want attention to detail. It's got to be warm and made well! For the price and special occasion wear, I think this coat has possibilities, with some modifications of my own. Make it your own..............or not! Mattaniah
