I've had other Crystal Jellies items before, and I enjoy the feel greatly. They're not too firm or too soft for me to use, and the texture isn't overpowering, but it's still there enough to feel and enjoy. I am very sensitive to textures, so this is a concern for me where it may not be for others. Size-wise, this is lovely. I have the 8-inch version, and that sucker is just too much for me 90% of the time, both in length and in girth, so this was a perfect step down for me. If you want something to help you ease up to a larger toy, or if you're looking for something just a little thicker than the average guy, this is a great option. The suction cup is great. It grabs onto my semi-smooth wall fantastically, as well as any completely smooth surface, such as glass. I can stick it on my wall and use it to my heart's content without it falling off or breaking. If you're worried about discreet shipping, never fear. Not only does this come in your standard brown Amazon box, but the toy's packaging is wrapped in black plastic, so if the package is inspected, your privacy is still secure. However, I ended up throwing it away after only one use. I took it out of the packaging and washed it, as you should with all toys. I used it, then washed it again. I stored it in a drawstring bag on its own. A few days later, I was re-arranging my collection, and upon inspecting it, the center of the shaft, on the side facing away from the balls, had a couple tears and a couple spots of degradation in the material. Eeek! I instantly threw it away, and I will be slowly phasing out the few jelly toys I still own in favor of safer materials. I've been considering completely ditching any jelly toys for a while now. I'm not someone who has reactions to materials, but, as someone who uses these for work, I need to be careful about what I put in myself, and medical-grade glass and silicone are the safest materials. Yes, the Sil-A-Gel is better than your standard jelly - but it IS still a jelly, and a very porous material, so it shouldn't be shared between partners or orifices, as it can still harbor bacteria or nasty chemicals that it happens to pick up.
