Nice Long Straws, But Not Super Wide or Strong

These are pretty good for people that like or need long straws. They are not super strong, and I find that the longer I have had them, the quicker they seem to crack, so may not be best to buy so many for personal use. Otherwise, it is nice to have them available at home, as many gas stations have stopped providing this length of straw. Also, if cut in half, they work great for little kids' drinks, like the milk bottles from McDonalds and other items like that.

We buy these for our br drinks. Similar to Sonic restaurant straws

Appreciate that individually wrapped. We order a case of these when we run out and everyone loves have it them.

This straw is the one for your tall smoothie plastic drink container or for even drinking out of the blender...LOL. Wide enough for the smoothies. Haven't found it in any other color & yes it does come individually wrapped. We usually order 4 boxes at a time. I'm glad Amazon carries them, as they didn't when we first ordered a box. If you need a shorter straw, just cut down (da), which is what I do, but Mr. Wonderful doesn't care. 1/15/2014 Ordering for 2nd time on Amazon - a great straw...have also been cutting in half for our short drink containers. Perfect! Price a little less..

Quality item.

I wanted a restaurant quality item; longer length for any size cup or mug; sturdy so it would not bend easily; and finally a color besides clear. This GP product fit all my wants and I am completely satisfied. It’s a bunch of them but finding the quality item was worth the extra cost for the quantity purchase

Was looking for this restaurant quality straw for years. Starbucks would not tell me their supplier!!! This is the diameter of the Starbucks tall one and some of the fast food restaurants, Big gulp convenience stores. I have not tried it for smoothies or shakes, but you might want a little wider diameter for that. For regular drinks, and water, it's the best.

Purchased Feb 2014...NOT as described!

I ordered these in Feb 2014 as a supply to last me "forever," and didn't need to open them for a couple of months. But when I did open them, they weren't as described at that time..."Dixie JW12 Polypropylene Jumbo Wrapped Straw, 0.277" Diameter x 12" Length, Red (4 Packs of 500)" and "wrapped in clear plastic," exactly like I had gotten at 7-11 many times. The straws I received were about 0.21" in outside diameter and wrapped in paper. The paper part isn't that important but the diameter is only 75% of stated, which results in about a 40% reduction in effective circular area. This, in turn, increases the effort to pull up thicker liquids dramatically. I am VERY disappointed. Because I opened them after 30 days of receipt, no return was initiated.

Insulated mugs need a long straw

For some reason I can buy straws all day long just about anywhere, but no one sells the longer straws for the bigger mugs. I get one from a convenience store now and then but they don't last forever. So I decided to see if I could find the 10 inch straws at Amazon. And of course, as usual they have what I want. And I will never have to buy another straw or pick one up at 7-11!
