Lightweight, breathable.

Use for fishing in Florida. Even in the heat of the day, these pants are comfortable. No problem fishing in these in the hot summer heat.

A bit baggy.

I normally wear 34x31 in jeans. I bought several of the Pilsner Peak, the Silver Ridge, and Blood and Guts pants for comparison. Pilsner Peak pants: Fits a bit slim. Especially at the waist. Probably closer to 33 inches than 34. It rides a bit lower on the hip than the Silver Ridge and therefor a bit snug in the crotch. The length are the same. The Pilsner Peak are closer in style to a typical dress pants. Just one extra slot for pen or knife. The rear pocket is not flapped. The fit at the thigh is good for me. I have medium/thin thighs and it's not snug, but just right. If you have large thighs, you'll find these might be too slim. The leg then drops stragith. Material is woven, feels very nice. It's light material. I like it more than the nylon feeling of the Silver Ridge pants. Silver Ridge pants: the fit is very similar toe the Pilsner fit in that it's a bit slim. There's more pockets at the thight and the rear pockets are flapped. There is an elastic waist. It does come with a pretty cheap but functional 1 inch nylon belt. It rides just a bit higher on the hips than the Pilsner and the fit makes your butt look better. The material is more of a typical nylon feel. Not as comfy as the Pilsner but is still very comfrotable overall. Blood and guss: much looser fit from the hip down. If you want lots of flexibility in movement, this is your pants. The waist is a bit slim like the other two pants. There is minimal elasticity. The material is the thickest of the 3. Doesn't mean it's thick, just a bit thicker of the 3. Still a summer pants. Because the fit is loose on my thighs and lower legs, these are my least favorite of the 3 pants.

Good looking comfortable pants.

Nice looking and very comfortable with their light weight, great for wear in hot Florida weather and they do clean up nicely from being out fishing, guess thats why their called Blood and Guts cause that comes off with a wash.

Perfect outdoor pant

I had an older pair of Columbia pants that got burned, decided upon these for a replacement and they are fantastic. Lightweight, comfortable, nylon = mosquitos usually can’t bite through, and great fit. Use these hiking, camping even good enough looking for casual use.

good fit and fabric, but...

I like the fabric and I like the fit. However, the pocket sizes are ridiculous - they don't quite fit anything. I mean i can carry the phone in the regular pocket, but why won't my regular size phone fit in the velcroed pocket? the little pocket to carry knives is too narrow and too deep - anything you put in there requires gymnastic skills to get it out.

A bit pricey

First off, they fit. I wear 36/34 in levis 501 and these are exactly 36/34. Super comfortable, super light. Someone said these werent 100% nylon and that the tag said polyester (wyo rich - 3 star reviewer), i dunno, my tag says 100% nylon. Theyre not beige as in the pick, theyre more of a light tan. Could be the pick, could be my monitor, but i compared colors of the pants to colors on my monitor and they match light tan, not a big deal, just thought theyd be beige. A bit on the pricey side I'd say, $50.... bring that price down. We'll see how long they last. I understand the concept of the elastic sides (to account for bending/turning) but the stretch is almost non existent. To bad snook season just ended, guess i'll go get some reds. Overall, very happy with my purchase.
