I'm in the later stages of a "forever reno" of my master bath, and I chose this trim specifically because I wanted to be able to control the VOLUME of water, not just the temp. This is a huge point of contention with all the new single valve fixtures these days. This trim does exactly that. I built out a two head system - one overhead with this "sprinkler" type head but insteadof using the included arm I have it mounted directly overhead. I then have a diverter to a showerhose on a different wall. The diverter allows me to have one or both of the heads at once, which I like. The finish on this trim is exceptional. The trim is metal, I don't recall an abundance of plastic, unlike a Moen facuet set which was expensive AND almost entirely plastic (that was promptly returned). It has a mirror like finish. And I do mean mirror like. I could shave in it. ONE THING TO NOTE ABOUT THIS SET: The included escutcheon for the shower head pipe is very small. Make sure you get the dimensions on it before you install your greenboard. You will want a very close fitting hole; closer than you would think. I now get to either shore up the gap with j compound, or replace the overhead greenboard as a whole, or acquire a larger escutcheon. EDIT: Update 1/1/2015: Been using this for several months now and love it. I had centered it directly in the middle of my shower on the ceiling and it's incredibly relaxing to have a heavy drizzle of rain errr water come directly down. I'm *really* glad I got the dual valve that lets me control both temperature and flow because now, in the middle of winter I can set it to hot water at a drizzle and let the cold water clear the pipes while I shave. With my other single-handle faucets I can't do that - to set it to hot you're also setting it to full flow. The rectangular shape and proportions work great for my new shower. Loving it. Would be 5 stars if it were 50 bucks less but I just can't give 5 stars for a mostly-plastic build at this price and without including the rough.

Wrong finish

Ordered a stainless kit. Everything was stainless but the head itself is champagne bronze. Not to thrilled for the price.

Final Installation - Yay!

Great Product, just what we wanted. Installed easy and works great. The only thing I would like is for the hand held to have more water pressure. Temp control is very good and the rain shower has great water pressure, actually more than I expected. Very happy with the end result of our shower reno! Update Dec. 7, 2022 - Shower is now slowly dripping. I'm guessing the pressure balance valve has a seal that is leaking and it cannot shut off completely.

Perfect Showering

I renovated my bathroom and wanted the Delta Vero line in it. The local plumbing store wanted an absurd amount for this shower setup. Got it on Amazon for a little over half price. The unit is elegant, not too modern, but not too classic..more minimalist than anything. Easy to install. This is considered an "architectural" line product, so its a tad better than consumer grade stuff you get from Home Depot. Has an excellent finish and feels of solid quality...not like the stuff you would pick up at Home Depot. Installation is easy. independent temperature and pressure controls are wonderful. Easy to clean and use. Thing to note: This is just a trim kit, so it does not contain the required intermix valve body (See ASIN# B001AI1VMW / Delta Part No. R10000-UNBX). I opted to install this kit as a rain fall instead wall fall. This did require the purchase of a color matched ceiling mount shower arm from Brizo (another Delta product line - See ASIN# B002PET4B0) The shower head works wonderfully as a rain fall head, however, I would recommend two heads for a larger stall.

Great Product Cheap Plastic temp knob unfrotunately

I would give this product five stars but just because one part of it is poor quality I dont think it deserves five stars. At first when buying this product I though it was completely over priced, I saw plenty of other showers that were cheaper and looked nice but they were from poor unreputable companies and thanks to the kind amazon customers that write reviews I understood that those were not quality products. After checking other stores like restoration hardware, I understood that this item was reasonably priced. Don't try to go the cheap way Delta and Moen have quality products that they guarantee for a life time. Con The only thing I do not like about this item is that the temperature control knob is completely made of plastic and seems to be very fragile. I just feel like they could have made it out of metal as well and it would have been even better.

The brass fixtures are not very brassy. Fake coating.

The first thing is: it isn't brass. It's some kind of potmetal that's been dyed to look like brass...or maybe plated by someone in a hurry. Why wouldn't you just make the thing out of brass? Is it that hard to obtain brass? For the *very* premium price I paid, it isn't worth it. I only got it so I wouldn't have to replace the shower rough-in which is Delta. I am keeping it only because my wife likes the shape and it's functional...but the fake brass coating will wear off very soon I think. I do not recommend buying it. And Delta has lost any future business from me as I upgrade the rest of the house's plumbing. Yet another once great American brand brought low by people who take no pride in what they make.

Installed it today and Cartridge leaking..

I bought this Item 2 months ago, to install in my Basement Bathroom, I was in renovation process of bathroom, today I got time to install it. Opened the box and let the Plumber Install it. After a few hour, shower head started dripping. Called Plumber again he came and checked the installation and found leaking is because of Cartridge. Called Amazon. they refused to send me Cartridge because my return window is closed 1 month ago. Amazon has gone out of routine return after window closed so many times. But, this time I m very disappointed, frustrated and pissed off, anyone can imagine if there brand new over $400 expensive shower head start leaking from the very first hour. I didn't expect this rude reply from Amazon Customer Service specially being long time Prime Member. I would advice don't buy it.

Let it rain !

I ordered this through Amazon and am pleased so far (4 months in). Good water coverage, looks nice, and is fairly flexible if you wanted to rotate or change. When they say Valve Not Included, MAKE SURE YOU ORDER THAT! It means going to the Delta site and finding the product number, then placing the Amazon order. Somewhat frustrating that the lead times for all the products are different (hard when planning a project), and so I wound up grabbing the valve at another retailer (after my plumber helped me figure out what I needed). One regret I have is not getting brushed nickle. Because there's so much chrome, the water spots kinda trigger my urge to wipe it down frequently!
