YOU NEED AN ADAPTER DELTA MIS-INFORMS YOU ABOUT!

Does not specify it needs a adaptier. Funny, when I checked “My Orders”, the Adapter appears...along with the kit and the power supply I ordered, saying “....people order all three”. Even on DELTA’s own part page makes no mention of an adapter, but recommended this kit as a replacement. This adapter kit “ DELTA RP60090 Pilar manual bypass kit” just popped up. I was about to return the part!!!! All this is is an adapter to make the transition, not sure why it is labeled a “by pass”. Also, on the #11 illustration shows a “blue Filter” and it is no where to be found. Not even inside the new part! So....I don’t think the kit is complete. When I receive the ADAPTOR I will write another review if it works or this is all for nothing!

Replaced a Delta 980T-SSSD-DST

Purchased for a Delta 980T-SSSD-DST touch faucet. I've been using this solenoid for about 2 months now and it's been working fine. My one complaint is that originally I could touch either the neck of the faucet or the handle to turn the faucet on and off. This replacement only has one wire instead of two, so now I can only turn the faucet on and off by touching the neck of the faucet.

It's a great idea in theory

I bought this as a replacement for my almost new (less than 1 year old) Delta Touchless solenoid, which didn't work.This replacement also doesn't work. If you have problems with Delta Touchless Facets, I'd suggest not wasting more of your money on this replacement. It's a great idea in theory, but the "touchless technology" just doesn't seen to work.
