Can’t go wrong with Delta.

I didn’t install this myself, but my plumber did in no time. It is a nice heavy faucet, not plastic feeling at all. It’s perfect for what I needed.

Nice...

Needed this for MIL bathroom sink replacement, item is great. Sleek look, item arrived mostly undamaged except for a scratch on the handle somehow, I noticed after taking off the protective wrapping. PROS: Well built, comes with a 3 hole escutcheon though I only used the one hole. Love the rubber o-ring/gasket system, avoids that messy silicone plumbers putty look. CONS: Not a fan of the mixed plastic/metal drain assembly so, purchased an all metal one separately. I wish the braided supply hoses were just a little longer, like 2 inches longer at least. Had to purchase 2 additional hoses to make the supply connection. Little pricey.

Love my new Delta 583LF-WF faucets!

I have been the process of remodeling my bathroom and after spending a lot of time searching for the perfect faucet, I bought two Delta 583LF-WF. I thought they were modern and sleek. These faucets are very heavy and large. When my builder finally got to the point of installing them up and time to turn on the water, nothing! I had him to call 1-800-Delta and the lady said the cartages in both of my faucets was bad and that the whole lot was bad. Looks like they would have recalled all of them when they realized this. She promptly sent two new cartages out. Within 2 days I had them in my hands only to find out they were the wrong kind. I called 1-800-Delta and talked to another customer service person and she said yes, I received the wrong ones and promptly put them on ups and I received the next day. By that time my builder was gone so I installed them myself. VERY easy to install. Turned on my faucets and I had water, along with a few leaks from my drains. After using these for a few days I will have to say we really like these faucets and yes, I would buy them again. I will have to say my husband was let down when he learned the parts are made in China.

Easy to install, easy to clean

So far so good after about a month. Easy to install although I had to get 2 supply line extensions from the hardware store. Clean look with a low profile around the spout, and single lever makes it easy to keep clean which is just what I wanted.

Faucet Head accepted the hookup for our RO Unit!

We searched for a faucet that would hook up with my older reverse osmosis unit. We renovated our kitchen but the new faucet that has the spout for rinsing in the head would not allow any hookup. I even called manufacturers such as Delta and others asking if they had a model number of a bathroom faucet that would accept the hookup for our reverse osmosis unit and they said they had none. We went to plumbing stores and brought the part from our RO unit and found that this Delta faucet would take it! But, it was a chrome faucet and I wanted the stainless steel and found it online with Amazon for so much less. Now we easily hook up the RO unit to do our big water container every other day and it is so easy. Maybe this is an older Delta model but it saved the day for us!

Easy DIY install, very solid

I installed this faucet in a bathroom area with very limited access in the sink cabinet. What a relief to find that I could actually reach everything I needed to without completely contorting myself. It's simple to get this faucet properly tightened down and connected to the supply lines. Definitely a DIY project most people can do! This faucet is really heavy, feels solid in hand and when it's installed. The cheap faucet I replaced felt flimsy, corroded in our hard water, and sounded like a freight train when the water was running. This Delta faucet is the opposite in every way, and it looks great. The photos below are from two different angles so you can get a sense of the distance and height over the bowl.
